I just got the YLOD, how long does these fixes last? Also if you get it fixed through Sony, is usually a permanent fix.

I know everyone is pissed about DMC but I'm with you on this one. That game looks cool. Ol boy took one hell of a beat down and is still kicking.

You and me both. The only thing it had going for it was it's cheap price tag (and the fact that it's fashionable to hate on Madden). The game was too arcade y and each play felt like it was being fast forwarded.
Still I would like to see what they could do with an NFL license now.
(NBA 2k* on the other hand can't be touched.)

You said it, my kids are 11, 8, and 2, so I can see them having a ball with this (especially the 2 year old). Plus it gives me the excuse to buy the Move for the games that I want, no questions asked. :)
I think I'll be picking this up. They were demonstrating the online co-op, does it have local co-op (couch co-op) too?

I love football and purchasing Madden is a routine for me every year. Some years I actually wonder why I "fall" for it every year but I actually like this years the best. I have a 360 and PS3 and bought Madden 11 for the PS3 just because I have always played Madden on Playstation.

Don't know about overall numbers, but I know you can count me down as one sell. This will be my first Halo that I have bought since the first one.
I can't wait either. I was sitting back waiting on the PS3 update while a friend of mine went out and bought a 3D blu-ray player because he didn't know the update was coming. It pays (and saves) to read gaming blogs. :)
