You got to realize that some of us have kids... Once my kids see this movie (which we will see this movie)this will probably end up in the collection.
If it's inevitable that I'm going to buy this it gives me an excuse to buy it in 3D... :)

The prices are coming down, I hope you can catch a special somewhere.
I have a 3D TV as well and what people don't realize is that although these sets are 3D capable they also have all the new tech in them and some of the best picture quality as well. I paid around $2000 for my 55in LG in 2007 and these new set blow the picture away in 2D.
4 to 5 years is all I'm expecting out of my main TV (and that's pushing it). My son inherited the LG while I picked up the Samsung.

I'm glad 3D content is becoming more abundant. It was slim picking for me personally when I first upgraded.
That is the way it is with all technology. I know a friend of mine who stills has a Nokia feature phone because he keeps hearing about the next big thing. Every time he goes to pull the trigger on buying a new phone he hears about some new phone releasing in the near future off of engadget or something.
It doesn't look like he will ever upgrade... lol
