I'm not sure about head and shoulders above, but I do agree that they're going for different feels. If you're in the mood for a semi scripted adventure with some buddies, then Destiny is most certainly your thing. But if you just wanna dick around with your friends and light some short people on fire, Borderlands is where you'll get your kicks. They're both fun, just in different ways.
Seriously, why the heck doesn't this game let you trade gear with others? I don't need Warlock gear if I'm not currently a warlock.
Of all the new subclasses, Sunbreaker is the one that's got me interested the most. A flaming hammer is something I didn't know I needed until I saw it.
