He's probably talking about the armies of PS3 fanboys that regurgitated the same O'l bull day in and day out. I don't think 360 fans not happy with the fee make bit*hing about a few bucks a month when they spend hundreds every few months a life long goal. As you can see the PS3 fans are trying to report the story so they can spread the bu bu bu Major Nelson misinformation he made.
I didn't think any of those PS3 magically a million units closer a day since the first reports were released made any sence the 360 has been outselling PS3 worldwide for months. But like I said none of this will matter after Kinect launches. Every day a new articles was claiming PS3 was some how closer when the gap has been widening before the reports. Yesterday I've read articles and PS3 fan comments saying PS3 was already caught up and some even saying PS3 was in the Lead.

I agree with a poster above. Kinect and Move should not be compared. Some Move games require consumers to buy it twice not to mention there are more than one part of Move made by Sony for different experiences. This is not to say Kinect won't outsell Move 3 to 1.
Very smart of Microsoft and they are also able to compete in the Wii Motion stick market if they choose by developing a motion stick. In the future there could be games that use a Wiimote and full body motion at the same time.

I'm guessing this confusion was designed to counter Kinect on number of levels and ways. I this is why PS3 fans keep posting this every day.
Sony reported shiped numbers just like when they clarified 1 million moves shipped.
Kinect is completely different it's more advanced and has full body 3D motion tracking, advanced AI and voice and face recognition software doing the magic in the background. It uses a different type of tracking technology. Move is tracking two points in 2d space.
You make about as much sense as saying a Cessna plane is more advanced because it's more maneuverable/precise than a Airbus A380 or a Boeing 787 Dreamliner

I say PS3 sold around 38 Million to consumers and they have close to 3 million in retail shelves and warehouses. Microsoft didn't sell as many to retailers because they drained the market of the old 360 design then was not able to make the 360 Slims fast enough after it launch lowering the amount they could sell to retailers.
42 million is sold numbers the numbers from this articles are shipped no one knows how many PS3's were sold to consumers.
In a year no one will remember Sony's report. Microsoft will take Wii consumers.
