thats not what i said and i dont want them to rush it, but they are consequently delivering smacktalk and bs over the rest of the gaming sector. They chose the episodic content for deliver the experience and story on a faster basis and yet we are waiting so damn long that i have to replay the other episodes on release before playing the new one.
The orange box is amazing, absolutly awesome and to be honest its a one time wonder so far (ONLY speaking for pc gaming), several games in one package every single one extremely great games.

didnt meant to correct you just pointed it out that valve doesnt port at all. They were my no.1 dev for shooter games and they still deliver very very great games, controlls sound graphics and story are allways top notch, but it seams that holding the pc market in theyre hands with the steam distribution platform kinda made them float quite some feet above the floor.
Get back to the roots and deliver games instead of smacktalk !

well they are producing it for less money and making more on the sales then releasing all 3 in one package, but instead or working on those episodes they invest the main time in the new hl3 engine and game assets and produce the episodes in the meanwhile.
It actually looks that valve didnt recruited a new team to backup the new demand appropiate, cause if they had the episodes wouldn't take so friggin damn long.

i lost every respect for valve as a dev for taking up to 2 years for 1 episode in hl2 and shi**ing all over the rest of the gaming community on a regular basis.

i wont going that far and suggest that the ps3 version would be superior but on my demo (ps3) it runs absolutly smooth no hikups or whatnot supersolid and smooth framerate.
i bet the 360 runs as good too they definatly tweaked the game since the beta couse thats mainly the purpose of a beta to enhance the game for relaese

playing the demo since launch now and i love it
this is the best mp game on a console to date and as a huge battlefield vet (played since the beta of bf 1942 every bf there was till this date) i can asure you it wont disapoint you.
