ea has so many studios and publishers bought they could easily make 10+ exclusives a year of EA branded games, for a ea console.
infact some screens look worse couse they added far to many oversharpened textures on plces where they dont belong.

its incredible how loyal some are to theyre beloved companie, hd-dvd is dead, even 5 bucks are too much for a medium that is obsolete.
the smoke effects are stunning, i was waiting since the first dx10 features showed up to see it that well implemented.

and i didnt deny that ati takes it part but its not solely because of ati cause the nvidia cards arent that far off in price, the 4870 csits 210€ and the gtx 260 250€ that is adifference in 40€ i really love to pay for a less hot less watt intense card :)

its mainly because there is no game out atm that needs a new card, tahts the problem. I mean i bought one but mainly because it was overdue coming from a 7950gx2. If there would be a crysis2 or hl3 you can bet that those cards would sell like hot cakes.
cod 4 is the only major game not supporting the d3
every other retail game does and most of the psn games too.

likewise, i really dont wanna sound like a fanboy but i really love nvidia and intel for theyre nearly overheatproofen hardware, if something gets to hot i normally only get a blackscreen and the hardware runs perfect after it cooled down again, amd and ati cooked on me in the past.
oh and not tto forget the 280 isnt the end fo the nvidia lineup for the 200 this year, the new powerhouse is coming end of fall.

true, but still in real i get a 4780 for 210€ and a gtx260 for 269€ atm.
i picked the gtx260 xxx version wich is the inhouse overclocked xfx model and it kicks major ass as it is between the gtx260 and gtx280 performance wise.
and there is one major thing to think about it too the gtx is still waiting for the proper driver and together with full physx i cant wait to see the real power unleashed of this beast.

if nvidia would just lower the prices of the gtx200 series amd will be beaten once more.
im just no fan of sli or cf setups to much watt drain, too loud, too buggy.
cant wait either, crysis offers an amazing sandbox and dead solid frame for an awesome mp game but the mp in crysis itself was just meh, i mean it was huge and all like a bf game but the gameplay was just mediocre.
