What's with the disagrees? He was clearly making a joke about how the article tried to make Netflix look exclusive to Xbox when it really isn't. I thought it was funny myself. They could have just as easily said "Netflix" without tying it to a single game console.

Remember how Elizabeth opened the tear in Monument Island that showed Paris and a movie billboard with "Revenge of the Jedi" written in french and a firetruck driving toward her? That definitely wasn't 1912. Nor was any of the music Fink's brother stole from the tears for that matter. The tears aren't bound to specific timelines, which is why we have music in Columbia about 60-70 years before we're supposed to and Plasmids about 45 years early. The tears across time ...

Sadly we'll probably never see Saltonstall. Levine said that putting anything back in the game that was pulled is tricky business because then people will claim you only pulled it to resell it later. So anything they already had of him that they pulled from the game, we'll never see. And I'm going to assume that includes his whole storyline.

I'd say the game took me about 10 hours total to beat, somewhere around there. Amd I'm still not saying to wait, because by the time the Special Edition comes out with the DLC from the Season Pass, the regular game will be $20. I guarantee it. You can find it now for $30 if you look. The Season Pass is $20 for all DLC. When the Special Edition comes out you'll basically be paying the same price then as you would now. I don't see it releasing for less than $50 to start.

If you already own the game I'd say Season Pass. Let's EXCLUDE the Challenge Map DLC for a moment and look at the two story DLC. Each will sell for $15 each, $30 total if bought separately, but only $20 if you buy the Season Pass. Let's also look at the potential price for the Game of the Year Edition (or whatever it's called). You're essentially rebuying a game you already own and $35 worth of DLC for about $50 or so. Doesn't it make more sense to just pay $20 extra n...

Sucks for you? Doesn't mean it's too late on their part. They said up front there would be DLC down the line and they also said that it had only been outlined at that point, not written or designed or modeled or voice acted. Brand new content that wasn't REALLY started until the game shipped was always going to take some time. Most of us waited 3 years for this game, I have no problem waiting 5 months for more.

That might be so but how is asking us who want going to do any good if none of us have played it and have any idea what the character's really like? We don't know enough to make a good decision, yet that's what they're doing here is asking the people who haven't played it. I think that's what people are arguing here.

Jim Caviezel. Then make it a weekly tv show instead of a movie and call it Person of Interest.

I think the ending takes place RIGHT after the Baptism, after the universe branched into a Booker Universe and Comstock Universe and at that point you'd gone through with it and were in the Comstock Universe. From there you would become Comstock one way or another. So all "Bookers" in that Universe were merged into one single dimension, so drowning them all would erase any possible future of COmstock existing, but NOT erase the Booker who didn't go through with it. Problems ...

It becomes less simple when you think of alternate Bookers, just like there were alternate Elizbaeths at that baptism. Unless ALL of the Bookers drowned, there was no way to gaurantee one of them wouldn't become Comstock. But if they ALL drowned then the post-credits scene with Booker and Anna doesn't make sense because he could never exist at that point.

The way I understand it, when Baby Anna was pulled through the tear and lost her pinky, she existed in two different demisions, and that somehow makes her different and able to cross through, because she doesn't belong to one world.

Most "fools" can't afford to keep up with PC gaming. A good PC that can play these games on the highest possible setting costs at least twice as much as a console, if not more, not to mention the operating system cost. Bioshock Infinite, as well as a couple other recent games, has cut out XP support altogether. Console gaming is cheaper and doesn't require hardware upgrades. We get what we pay for with consoles but there's no need to insult people with smaller wallets.

DLC was always inevitable. The season pass is just giving people a better deal on it. I don't see the problem.

At least it's not content cut from the game. Levine has been very vocal about that, saying that all content cut from the game was cut because it wasn't working. The same reason they didn't' slap multiplayer onto it. It wasn't working. He stated that all DLC is either in the planning stages or has just begun and will be separate from the main n...

The port is made by Straight Right, not EA and not even Bioware. Yes EA is releasing it, but they had little to nothing to do with the quality of the port. It's not like tampering with a game still in development. EA deserves hate for many things, but not sure I'd point the finger at them for this in particular.

SPOILERS FOR THE END Of AC3!!!!!!

I'd love to see the next one jump forward a year or two after the end of AC3 where Juno has now taken over and begun enslaving the human race. The world would be in ruins and you would be a member of a rebel group who find an old Animus in the ruins and use it to go back to the first civilization and discover their weaknesses in an attempt to overthrow Juno. Seems like a logical step forward to me.

END AC3 ENDING SPOILERS...

AC3 is as different from AC2 (and in turn Revelations and Brotherhood) as AC2 was to the original. It's a true evolution to the series that, yes, we haven't had since the second game, but this one IS a lot different. I know, I've been playing it for the past day.

If you don't have internet access (at least on PS3) you're already screwed at some point because a lot of games require a certain firmware other than the default one the system is packaged with. Internet access has become more than a luxury in gaming, it's become a necessity. If you don't have it, you'd probably better get it.

As for the bugs in the game itself? I'd cut them a little slack, as they're using a brand new engine in this game, one that...

@3-4-5, wrong. There are a few interviews out there where Ubisoft actually says that they were shooting for a fall deadline because the main story arc deals with the end of the world, 12-21-2012 and they wanted gamers to have a fair chance to beat it by then. So it was the developers that opted to release it now, not their superiors. In some cases you might be right, but not here.

It's a day before release, I wouldn't call it THAT early, considering some people (NON-reviewers) have had for half a week now. This seems about right, just like reviews for movies are going to be written a few days in advance and either posted online Thursday or in the paper Friday morning.
