But the difference is that Books/Movies/Music are not fighting Used Sells.
But even Books have libraries. Music have videos & radios. When you go to the Movies you can demand your money back and not buy the Movie when it comes out on DvD.

What game Dev. has a "Satisfaction guarantee or your money back"?? None!!
And they will quickly sell you a Crap Game & won't think twice about it!! Some will sell you a unfinished game at full price and then turn around a sell better New & Improved version of the same game for full price a few months later.

This game keeps getting better and better. So many things, So little time...... for anything else, but Skyrim.
If the Wii U is just as powerful as the Next PS4/720, then Sony and Microsoft will release right after or at the same time. But if its not, then they will come out a year after.

Me personally, I think that they should just focus on the SP. I believe Skyrim has shown how good a game can be if the Devs. just focus.
They know that the maps are B.S. I think they did that shit on purpose so people would play the game and say "I wish the maps were better" in turn giving them reason to buy map packs or get elite.
I bought Skyrim & Mw3 two days after launch for less than $100. It saved me from buying X-Men Destiny since I rented it. I definitely know what games I'm going to be satisfied with when I buy them since I rent first......So yeah, its worth the money, IMO
Well that is because of the whole "Online Pass will be better for the Devs." thing. And all the gamers who supported the "Online Pass" because this doesn't effect you since you buy all your games new.....

The key to MW3 is the voice chat!! Being able to talk trash & hear outrageous things is key. Thats one of the main reasons kids,girls & assholes keep playing this game. BF3 is a great game but you don't get to talk to your enemies, hell you don't really even get to talk to your teammates.
People buy Headphones mostly for COD. I've stayed on COD game longer just because of the crazy conversations.
As new game consumer, we need the Used Gamer/Renters not to be charged for online passes. Because most of the people in multiplayers either bought used or rented. And with the online passes the rate of ghost lobbies just skyrocketed.
My friend who has bought R3 said that full lobbies are getting rare. And I was in a few BF3 SDM less than half full, and thats a 2 week old game.
So for all those people that think this doesn't bother them because they buy ne...
It would more in likely go "You bought the last game, I'll get this one" And that would multiply. It benefits the consumer because he has a friend to play the game with, there would be less ghost lobbies so the consumer won't feel like they wasted money and a good sense of ownership they would be open to buy more because of the good experience they've had.
A happy costumer is a spending costumer.
I think it would do better to increase the number instead of decreasing. And also have a system to where we can share games with friends, like I can send a game voucher. That way more people would be inclined to buy Games/DLC ect.
Say you buy a game. You get 5 chances to install it on different PS3's. You should be able to atlease give 2 of them to friends, but they can't give them out and they can only install it once on a PS3.
Now with that idea more people ...
I hope this doesn't come out this-gen. It would be great for next-gen. Because I think this gen has really reached its limits. IMHO

IMHO, Uncharted can not exist in both movie & games because one would suffer thus killing both of them. The reason why Uncharted is such a good game is because it attempts to blur the line between movies & games.
The Best thing they can do is come up with a script and try to make it into a great game.
So who ever is pushing this Uncharted movie needs to STFU!!
