All Sony needs to do is show us games....not gimmicks.
You hit it. I can see Microsoft realizing they need some kind of device to be able to immerse someone further and compete with motion controllers that allow you to play the same games you have been playing for years.
I don't think we would be far off in the thinking they may be working on something now. The camera technology is there, just like Eye Toy, so I'm sure a simple firmware update could make Natal compatible with an external device.
Seriously....help me understand. What is huge about the potential? You are very limited, when you have no controls. Look at any controller and you have more than 12 options in buttons to program instructions into.
Got to be kidding. How will you control acceleration and braking in racing games? How can you have a quality experience when Kinect cannot hit a 1:1 Ratio.
Like the Kevin Butler spot........."Those buttons do come in handy".
Agreed
What a horrible point of view article. Any real "Gamer" who watched the M$ conference was cringing. Sony........and Nintendo (lol) don't have to work hard to beat that.
Pressing buttons on my controller is far easier than looking like a moron flailing my arms and talking to a TV.
Cool.
MGS: Rising was great, Black Ops looked good.....and the demo was pretty badass. ESPN integration was awesome, and everything else was meh.
Oregon LULZ!!!
I love my rain, my snow...I love Washington. I actually just took a road drive down to california....and I will say Oregon has the best highways I have driven, but there drivers are pretty similar. Now California.....highways are horrible, and the drivers don't know how to use turn signals and half the people are driving 20mph faster than the other half, so makes for crazy driving.
Kevin Butler has definitely helped improve the advertising, but being the big Sony fanboy that I am, I still can't say they are winning on advertising. People are just realizing now that the PS3 is the best console on the market.
I thought some computer expert had come out and said a slim 360 isn't very plausible....since the components inside can't really be manufactured smaller. At most they would be able to make it like 1 inch shorter or something.
Trying to think of something clever to say.......but I've run out of quips for Natal. Just getting old.
This is one reason I think the game is awesome. If you go onto "Hello Games" homepage and look at their About Us page, instead of having pictures of themselves now.....all four of them post pictures from childhood. A couple of them were devs who worked on Burnout, which could be where the racing inspiration came.
Natal at number 1. LOL.
At E3, watch as M$ makes sure the people demoing Natal are wearing bright clothing and the space with the demonstration is well lit so they don't have any more problems with the device not recognizing people. Should be funny.
LOL!!! Maybe they will come out with a sexy stripper game, that ends after 5 minutes and leaves you with.......wait for it........blue balls!!!
Great game!!!! Very addictive......but in a good way.
Strangely, I have to agree with this list for the most part.
They just released the last game. So no, there is no way EA is going to announce another. And for me, BFBC doesn't have the stature to be major announcement for a company like EA. Large yes, but not major.
But yeah, there won't be any announcement on BFBF.
Won't be approved since the majority of gamers are not happy about Kinect.
