They're talking specifically about long lasting games. I agree to a certain point. When you look at games like Warframe, Final Fantasy XIV, Destiny, No Man's Sky and so on, it makes sense to think of a different way to approach longevity.
The real problem EA has is its greed. If they just focused more on the experience itself and less on how they can empty peoples wallets, they'd probably have better game launches.
World of Warcraft is another...
"Too much melee" in a melee combat game. Freakin idiots.
The actual problem with "Gaas" is people like this that can spend 100+ hours on a game and then complain there isn't enough content.
It's not the kind of game that should get a sequel anyways. Not cuz it's bad. It should be a one off and they should do something else.
Cool.
The comments here are interesting. I've actually come across a lot of live streams on Twitch that refer to people in the default skin as lower players. I forget the term they use but they actually call them something along the lines of "no skin" or whatever.
I wouldn't call that bullying but there is a stupid mentality from people that have skins where they feel they're superior just cuz they have one. It's ridiculous but it's out there.
No, the original trailer did not have co-op. It was originally going to be single-player.
I have no doubt that adding multiplayer forced issues and delays that shouldn't have been there.
Much respect for this guy. I wanted Scalebound so bad. I suppose I can hate Microsoft a tiny bit less. =P
Finally! I've screamed and begged a little at PlayStation about this. Glad to see it.
lol It's not even that old. Freakin stupid.
Same month they put out really terrible games with Gold. Kinda funny.
lol Saw the headline, saw it was by Kotaku. Instantly thought "figures."
It is funny though cuz I do play a lot of games lately where the main character doesn't stfu. Like Ghost Recon Wildlands does that too. They never stfu. lol
Meanwhile tons of people complaining that the servers have been down for a few hours now. LOL
LOL oops
"Please respect the context of the ten sentences prior to the sentence you reference"
This is basically the #1 problem with every idiot on the internet as well as just life in general. People can't seem to say anything without taking things completely out of context.
Wrong. Clueless idiots that do nothing but spread hate on the internet declare the game is dead.
Actual players are playing it. How can you be this stupid?
If you had any brains you would realize EA is the problem, not Bioware.
Andromeda was great. Anthem is awesome. The games have issues but so do most games that launch these days. Everybody's hate for EA has just bled into Bioware without anybody waking the f*** up.
Don't be stupid.
lol It's true.
Doesn't necessarily mean it's a good thing. I like it so far but all good things turn bad eventually. Just look at Amazon.
Social media is the only real problem with Anthem. A bunch of sheep idiots jumping on the bandwagon.
Hey guess what? The same day they added these Elysium chests was the same day they said they would be a temporary event and that they would go away.
