Good read, I'm surprised Microsoft hasn't set something up where they can clear the misconceptions about xbone. There many things that need to be clear before I buy one.
The xbone will sell very well, but how is Microsoft going to explain the do's and don'ts of the console. We can't assume that the average consumer knows about drm, always needed to be online and so forth.
After the rough start of the xbone, they might consider their exclusive deal with Microsoft.
It's not about the games, it's about price.Its going to be a hard sell this holiday season. They're going up against a $399 ps4 and $349 Wii u. Plus no halo or gears of war at launch. What console do you think casuals will gravitate to?
Sony will definitely try to ship in early October. Just in time for battlefield 4 and cod.

C'mon, it's just s console. Why so much hate for Sony? If your a gamer and depending on your age. At some point you must of owned a PlayStation console.

Good news, but what will be the process? Will it be as easy as resetting it to factory settings, then selling it? Do you have to notify Microsoft before you sell it? Still a bit murky.

Wow, how are publishers ok with this? They stand to lose millions of dollars. 10 people and you only have to buy one game? I think this will only apply to Microsoft first party games.
This is an awesome feature, it's perplexing that they didn't explain this in greater detail. After all the bad press, this would have made the other bad features more tolerable. Wait, doesn't this feature also negate the argument that publishers are losing money to used game sales? Aren't publishers potentiially losing 9 game sales if you can share these games?
I'd like to see a brand new ip.
As far as games go Microsoft did show quite a few new ips. I expect Sony to unveil more before launch.
This is the one game I hoped would come to ps4.
Digital distribution may very well be the future. But not this gen.
