I personally don't think it will compete since they're two different genres and Titanfall appeals to much more gamers. Stand-by.
Exactly. And multiplayer games are all about gameplay, which Titanfall excels at.
Isn't Outlast an indie game? What's with indies being so surprised their small-scale games are running 60fps and/or 1080p?
Hopefully it will be the same for Xbox once it arrives on the platform.

That list ssj4fox listed is kind of stupid since 90% of PS4's list are indie arcade games, not something most people want as a deciding factor in a next-gen console.

With X1 there's plenty of launch titles such as Ryse, DR3, KI, and Forza 5. PS4, however is just Killzone. I really don't understand why someone would buy a PS4 at the moment (unless you love indies).

Gears 2 sucked but Gears 3 did NOT suck and is definitely the best gears. Stop "guessing" that it sucked cause you obviously never played it. It improved everything Gears did wrong from the first two.
I didn't pay $100 more to rely on resolution, I paid that much because of the AMAZING games.
DR3, Titanfall, Halo, Gears Quantum Break, the list goes on and on and on. I personally don't even spot a difference between 720p and 1080p, so I don't care for that at ALL. Even if I did find a noticeable difference I'd still decide to choose the console with better games than resolution. Cause all Sony has at this point is Infamous, Driveclub, and The Order.
I barely spot a difference between 720p and 1080p, and I compared with both my 1080p monitor and TV. I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of people didn't either, since playstation fans turn a subtle difference in their favor into a huge one.
It really comes down to games. And X1 wins by a LONG shot. In both quality and quantity. MS is bringing its best system sellers such as Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, Crackdown AND they're focusing heavily on new IPs. Such as ...

Well, Mark Rubin is back so the author shouldn't have to worry. It will be way better than "the same" since an extremely talented studio is now working on it.

Not true. Hardware wise, maybe. I don't know about you but I usually like the console with the beset games, And Xbox definitely has the best games IMO. It has the most AAAs by a long shot though and that's a FACT.

MS basically announced the next Crackdown and Gears of War today, at the most random time ever. You can only imagine what they have in store for this E3 and the next year to come.
This is next-gen, not last gen. Introducing a $20 million franchise to next-gen is not milking, it's called making the right business choices. I'm VERY hyped for next-gen gears, and I expect it to be nitpickers and hated to death on this site just like every Xbox exclusive (i.e. Titanfall).

There is only SUBTLE differences in appearance with 720p and 1080p. Show me proof (not just one biased source) of the amazing differences you playstation fans clam. 30fps and 60fps is a big difference though, and the only game that has this difference is a next-gen edition of a last-gen game.

It's amazing how they announce this at such a random time, I can only imagine what E3 will be like. Gears of War is easily my favorite franchise of last gen. Then it's Maas Effect.
