The difference is Sony don't have as much money to invest as MS so they simply took off the shelf products they thought were best suited and slapped them together to make the ps4. They spent around $400+ million designing the ps4.
MS spent over $3+ billion designing the xbox one. They have some of the best R&D people in the world. It shows in its custom chip design.

Lol at the disagrees. Its clear the XBO version looks better than ps4. in every scene! Not just filtering but in detail and lighting. XBO version looks very much like the PC version. Open all 3 in separate tabs then switch between them. Easy to see PS4 version is not up to par with the other 2.

Xbox one is only getting sub 1080p due to lack of system tools, incorrect usage of esram, and devs lack of correct use of xbo's unique architecture. THAT'S IT!!! no two ways about it.

I agree with this. Resolution doesn't equal better graphics but it does help towards overall image quality. For a game such as this 720p is too low. It makes it hard to see people far away on the map. 900p should be an absolute minimum for this gen because its easy to upscale and work with graphically to get similar clarity as 1080p and you stil have enough pixels to make out small things far away. 720p is too low in my opinion.
