Annylist predicting death? ok, since when does a fan-site count? Studios ditching Blu-Ray? 1 studio has ditched Blu-Ray that I know of and money was involved, not because the format sucks. And now I just heard that 2 studios just joined the blu-ray camp just this week. Now the whole Pirates movie is beyond me, u know, dvd wasnt the best thing to come out at first....

Are you serious? Since when do they "add" polygons to replays?? I hope you know replays use the in-game engine to view the replay..... You call yourself a gamer?

It seems like this game isn't seeming that bad anymore. It seems like decent reviews just keep poring in now. Better than the Lair reviews ive been seeing, thats for sure... :(

Yes, exactly. Who cares? I don't...I'd rather play Half-Life 2 or Unreal any day. I never got into Halo. To me, the game play was too slow and I found myself getting bored playing it. Even at lan parties I would want to quit and go play Battlefield or something and I wasn't the only one. I never got into Halo and probably never will.

Hmmm...guess I learn something new everyday. :] The thing is they cant just up the polygon count just like that. They have to reload the whole round or level (whatever you want to call it). To my knowlegde, most games dont load before a replay and if they do then its just to recall whatever happened during the race. I think the most that would hurt the frame rate in the game is the added effects, such as blur to get rid of the jaggies, which you did mention but i dont think they up the car mo...
