I went over to Future Shop yesterday to check out the 3D TV's. They were playing the movie Cloudy with a chance of meatballs on a 55" Sony. It looked amazing. I love it.
I plan on getting one but I need a price drop. Even though I could afford it I am not paying $3500 for a TV in this lifetime.
People are really excited about this. To bad after a month when they relise how limited the game play is they'll be out $150.

So what you're actually saying is better tech does not always equal better sales. That's different than saying better technology doesn't always create a superior performace.
The public is hard to predict sometimes. Though price is usually a big factor. First to market is hard to beat because people will normally stick with what they have.

It made look the same but the tech is way better. As far as MS going with a product unlike any have seen before. I guess they're refering to people that didn't own a PS2.
