There have been lots of rumors, saying that the Xbone was really not meant to release this year. However, Sony revealed the PS4 WAY earlier than Microsoft expected, and so they are now rushing everything.
Take that with a grain of salt, but seeing as how Microsoft did the same with the Xbox 360, I'm inclined to believe MS is also rushing the Xbone.

I'm not saying EVERYONE who likes Gen 1 is a blind nostalgia freak, or that they are just liking it for the sake of being popular with their friends. However, from personal experience, in both school and online, it just seems that people hate the newer gens because they have ugly Pokémons, despite Kanto also having some of the stupidest and ugliest Pokèmons in existance.

Why I REALLY HATE people who can only like Kanto, aka Pokémon fan wannabes. I don't get their mentality. The game is not set in Kanto and has new Pokémons, so the game automatically sucks? Why don't they look at their precious Gen 1, and see that it has a lot of problems too? The game wasn't as deep, there were lots of glitches and bugs, they had a lot of freaking unimaginative Pokémons, etc. It's not like Kanto Pokémons aren't even in the newer games. ...

Is it the video, or is the game not as smooth as previous games? It looks like the frame rate takes 5-10 drops when the Pokémons are battling.
Running in the overworld seems fine. In fact, riding on Gogoat's pre-evo looks really fast! Even riding on Rhyhorn was faster than I thought.

Oh please, men in videogames are just as objectified as women. KRATOS, the Gears guys, RE5 Chris Redfield. All buff as hell. Bodybuilders will look as big as them, but majority of guys will never look as good or as buff as them. Do the mods let the people/monsters you capture get stronger in different ways? Is the leveling up system as complex as Pokémon's EV/IV training? If Skyrim mods allows you to capture, but everyone's basically the same, then my point still stands.
Skyrim doesn't let you recruit monsters.
Ni No Kuni and Pokémon let you capture and train wild monsters.
Anyone with a brain should immediately know why having wild enemies that scales with your level in every area is a stupid idea. Beginning of the game should have weak monsters, middle of the game should have mid leveled monsters, end game should have really strong monsters, and post game areas should have the highest leveled monsters.

I agree that the game in some places had really really low-red textures, jaggies, etc., but that shouldn't be the only thing you should be looking for in a game.

You have a decent enough PC able to run most games at even 720p 60+ fps, you should be able to afford a PS3 now.
I got the $30 from registering both Fire Emblem Awakening and Shin Megami Tensei IV. I personally dont mind the amoun of DLC. As for what the DLC are, they're fine if you don't want to grind. The SMT games are MUCH harder than the Persona games, so if you want to play the game without being frustrated, the option is there. The Clipped Wings DLC are pretty awesome though. The angels aren't that good, but they are fun boss battles.
Xbox only gets TIMED exclusive content, not exclusive content that can only be found on Xbox. But I guess if you don't want to wait a month for it, I guess good for them.
