I'm one of those rare people who actually like the COD campaigns. The stories are meh, but the set pieces are well done. I just wish they were a bit longer. At least around Uncharted's length would be nice.
I might get a DS4 when I pick up Ghosts on Tuesday. For anyone that already got a DS4, the USB charging cable that I'm using with my PS3 to DS3 works too, right? I messed up my Sixaxis' R2 (still works, but it's more stiff now), and when I play something like KH1.5HDR, Sora sometimes twitches when running, so something might be wrong with my L3. I'm looking for another controller, so might as well get a DS4.

All I can say of BF4 so far on PS3 is that the game is FFFFFFFUUUUUUUGGGGGGLLLLLLYYYY Y!! Not once have I yet to say "Wooooowwww!!", stare in awe, or drop my jaw. The game has really low textures, I can't tell if there's a mirror or not, and my character won't even jump over a small obstacle or a window. No, I have to move back, and sprint then jump. -_-
At least the game looks way better on PC and next-gen consoles as reported.
I only have one figurine, and that's of Nathan Drake from the UC3 CE. I still have it in its wrapping and haven't taken it out/touched it. Is it worth anything? I also have the scale model of the car from the GT5 CE untouched (well, I touched the glass casing, but not the car). Is that worth anything too?
My dad lost about 2 hours into the campaign because the save file deleted itself. The game froze on while loading me into a Conquest match. I also saw Giantbomb's stream of Battlefield 4 during the Extra Life event, where the game locked-up just as a building was about to fall.
Just 3 problems I've seen so far.
This game... Probably will be my first PS4 Platinum Trophy. Loved inFamous 1 & 2, and platinum'd 2.

Well, the Xbox 360 had better res/FPS in multiplats than the PS3 early in their life cycles. But the thing was, the PS3 was clearly stronger but since it was a pain to develop for, the games never looked great until the big exclusives came in, starting with MGS4 (I think OG Uncharted also showed off the PS3's graphical prowess, but I'm not so sure).

PS2 and SNES are the pinnacle of game consoles, and the newer consoles should strive to reach those levels. You can't go wrong with the two of them.
I know, right? Last year, I was playing Kingdom Hearts 2 on my SDTV, and it looked so colorful and pretty. But when I decided to connect the PS2 to my 1080p HDTV, the game looked muddy and washed out, probably 180p. I had to go out in the mountains and use a telescope before I could see it clearly.

I read someone's comment on NeoGAF that having very high traffic can sometimes lead to the network thinking it's a DDOS attack. I hope this is true, rather than some useless and stupid people causing problems to a charity helping sick children. I hope they get punished hard for this!
And to think, MS has timed exclusivity deals with COD, yet IW (or whoever is making the odd-yeared games now) still chose not to let the PS4 look the same as COD on Xbone, or worse. Then again, COD on PS3 also sells nearly as much as the X360 versions, so it'd be best not to force parity when one of them is clearly better than the other.
Shinies are RARE. You don't say "ohh I want!", and expect the next wild Pokémon you see be a shiny. Like RaikRhythm said, chances of encountering a shiny is less than 1%.
However, there are various ways of slightly increasing the chance of seeing one. Masuda Method (having two Pokémons from different countries in the daycare and breeding them), Pokéradar chaining (the higher the chain, the higher the chance of a shiny. Max chain is 40), or now Fi...

I thought FFXIII had a great boss fight, despite only having 2 forms. Hard but fair. You can't just go all out Commando on that boss. You gotta buff, debuff, and go Sentinal when it brings out its devastating moves. When you get to the final form, it can OHKO your whole party. You gotta use Sentinel on your whole team before that move happens, and even then, the move still hurts your party to critical health, and you gotta quickly heal and buff everyone.
