Honestly this series is getting very old. And I'm saying that as someone who played almost all the titles. The story is enjoyable for the 10-15 hours it lasts then you have the usual grind that is just a bit boring IMO. They really need to shake the formula because it's getting stale. I can't remember all the characters from the last titles because they're mostly forgettable with horrible, childing dialogue.
This game looks like fun, but because you are shooting civilians instead of say, monsters, it becomes that devilish incarnate thing no one should play. Grow the fuck up. Who are you to dictate what I'm supposed to play on Steam?
Not that it matters because the game will still be released one way or the other. But you have a perfect case of limited freedom here. You can do whatever you want, as long as it's not TOO controversial for the suits at Valve.
Same dev is also hiding a complete GAME MODE behind a pre-order. But people just don't care anymore and buy anything at a high price.
Blame hackers all you want, the product is still broken even without the DDos attacks. But that's gaming for you today: pay now, play later.

This game is not an 8, but a lot of reviewers also play it safe by giving it a good score even though Destiny is mostly shit. I've seriously never played a game with such horrid game design through and through, from the missions to the features. I'm sorry but Gamespot actually is spot on for once.

But in this case I agree that Destiny is overhyped. Hopefully that gets mirrored in reviews, because this game is nowhere near a 9 or 10. More like 7-8.
Destiny will do the same yet people are opening their mouths and ready to swallow it.
