Joking aside, GOW is great, still not sure it deserves GOTG though. I think the seamless gameplay goes a long way toward achieving a game experience unlike any other. In comparison, Day's Gone looks weird with the fades to black for cinematics.

It's truly a fall from grace. Not surprising with the mass exodus of talent in the last decade or so. Playtonic has a bunch of Rare vets, plus it must have been soul-crushing to work on so many Kinect games...

Kinda sad how many ports there are on Switch, but I guess that was to be expected with how much of a failure Wii U was.

It's sad when you look at such games with poor content and the devs claim it's a full game. It's an Early Access game at best, weeks before its official launch. I guess gamers don't care, as long as they can get viewers on Twitch.
Rockstar is never at E3 though. Not saying there won't be a new trailer, but it might be before the event.
The more I see such predatory practices, the more I think early 2000s were ahead of time for gamers. I can't imagine a game like Phantasy Star Online in today's industry: buy your special weapons with real money! It sucks.

Upgraded consoles might be the worst idea I've seen yet. If I wanted to upgrade, I'd buy a killer PC with a $800+ video card. The reason why gamers choose consoles is ease of use. Also, not having to upgrade every now and then is a big part of their appeal. Beyond these facts, it will set a dangerous precedent for developers who will feel obliged to develop for the faster, sexier PS4/Xbone.
