Based off how much was sold seems switch version did better in America based off Famitsu it sold 400 to 500k in japan
Last time sales announce it was 4 million in September before switch launch so switch counts for 1 million to 1.5 million sales or at least the majority of it
If we subtract 400k to 500 k from japan that means the game did 1 million overseas which the PS4 could not do
3ds never slipped behind the PS4 it was always ahead even if you add American and europe numbers ps4 only add 400k to its japan numbers and 3ds japan numbers higher than ps4 japan and Europe and American numbers together
3ds out sold both ps4 japan and overseas sales on its own ps4 in second place but not that far from switch since last sales reported we can assume switch version sold 1 million to 1.5 million
