For every person that likes halo there is another that doesnt. To say this will be THE best fps experience the whole generation when the ps3 isnt even one year old is crazy, and then you say well into the next generation too? come on, get real. No doubt it will be great, no doubt it will sell bucketloads but the best for potentially the next eight to ten years??? You are obviously easily pleased then

another one! looks like it is really poor. Not really fussed as this wasnt really one I wanted, it just didnt "grab" me - like bioshock on pc (although I will still pursue that one due to loving system shock 2 and deus ex), but it IS a slap in the face for all the people saying "just wait for lair"!

the DEVS have said 10 to 12 hours. I would imagine it would be longer on extreme difficulty. That is fine for me. I have children and a demanding job. I cant put the hours into games that I used to, so, a top quality story which is well told is a good thing for a change. I have only so far completed 2 ps3 games due to lack of time. Not everyone minds a shorter game once in a while

Come on give me a break. By the time it is released (which is when we will truly know how long it is), xbots will be claiming it lasts TEN MINUTES! Come on get REAL!!

You are one of the worst fanboys here! Also, the games console itself is quite faulty BUT, the games are very very good. Even as a ps3 owner I cant argue with the quality of 360 games with the quality of graphics in particular, being very impressive
When I purchased my ps3 I fully expected ms to dominate this year. I am very happy with my ps3 but, the first year is always slow for a new console. Anything ps3 has this year that is good is just the icing on the cake for me, and it seems like there is gonna be a lot more than I thought. Still, this is to be expected
the graphics havent improved, the gameplay is worse than before, it is full of bugs and most the new stuff doesnt work.
SO HOW THE HELL DID THIS EVEN GET A 6.5 or 7????????

although i like downloadble games i prefer to have a box and a manual. Also i find it quite satisfying to watch my collection of software grow as the shelf fills up with boxes
i agree that pc will have the edge in spec but the devs never get the chance to push those specs due to having to program for the lowest possible spec. On paper pc wins everytime but I still dont see anything anywhere that looks as good as the demos of gt5 on ps3.
See xbots? the world doesnt stop on the 25th september. some people dont want to play halo3, although god knows how many pc's are gonna be able to run the thing!!
you not played motorstorm online? that is a lot of fun. You seem to have a lot of hatred. Maybe ps3 is more powerfull, time will tell but at the moment 360 is getting the better games. Maybe this is down to hardware maybe it is just time with the system. who knows? But I do know that they all talk rubish sometimes. Just enjoy the games.
i cant wait for this one, i have always been looking forward to this but no one else seems to care too much. There was a trailer a couplew of months ago that had a chopper section on it and I thought it looked awsome. The aliens were massive! cant wait!
of course it matters that it is only 5 months in uk. 360 was in development since probably about 2003 so why on launch was there not 30 aaa titles???
Also, £425 was not a bad choice on 23/03/07 when the alternative WAS a £300+ faulty piece of hardware with a £30 online fee. RROD was still a major issue 5 months ago as was disc scratching etc.

no doubt that pcs are well in advance of consoles but they never take advantage of their specs. The best i have seen on pc cant come close to gran turismo 5 on ps3. Maybe if they optimized everything for the very top end of pc market we would see results but, ps3 and 360 IMO are leaving pcs behind at the moment. Too many setups to cater for and trying to run on the lowest spec possible.

I dont think ps3 fans are angry and bitter (well the majority anyway). The games will come, it was obvious to most people that this would be microsofts year in terms of quantity AND quality. What ps3 owners have coming is good for the first year but, fanboys on BOTH sides have turned this whole generation into nothing more than a playground argument.
