If true, then I dont think it will be intended to stop people buying halo3. It will work one of two ways. Either, kz2 demo released and bombs, which will probably hype up halo3 more, OR, kz2 demo released and is amazing which might make halo3 look inferior, but after a while 360 owners wont care and it still sells loads.
All this will do is give ammo to one side of fanboys.
I find this funny that the same arguments ps3 people were shooting down halo3 with are now being used to defend gt5! lol! BTW I think gt5 owns anyother racer but I feel like I am reading the "5 things to hate about halo" thread from yesterday but with fps switched for racing!
That is interesting. Anything you download? So, say you downloaded a machine gun mod for oblivion (stupid I know but it would be fun!), can you only use it when connected? Why?

so post me a link to a racer that looks better than gt5 or rpg better than mass effect. Will acknowledge crysis as the ONE game I have seen, but even that doesnt drop on kz2 from a great height.
Totally disagree. On paper yes, pc owns but,....Show me a racer that looks as good as gt5, a shooter that looks as good as killzone2, a rpg that looks as good as mass effect. What sort of rig would you need to run uncharted? A pc SHOULD own every console game but this gen I dont think it will happen unless pcs drop their lowest spec policy and alienate(spelling??), the poorer gamers
I think that Halo3 generates two extremes of fans. The sony fanboys who will just talk utter nonsense about the game, and the xbox fanboys who hail it as the second coming of the messiah. I believe it is actually somewhere in between. I think most genuine gamers would admit that the story isnt the strongest, the graphics or sound are not the greatest either, so single player becomes a fairly standard experience. I disagree. I am pro Sony, but am also PRO GAMES and am not jealous. Halo just never grabbed me, (yes I completed both). However, if this was a ps3 exclusive I would bet a lot of the haters would be loving this game. Now, this is just wrong and it saddens me that this generation of console wars has degenerated into such childlike behaviour. I am not a fan of the halo series for many reasons, but for a hell of a lot of people this is the biggest release of the year (or decade!). Now, while I, personally am sick to death of reading about halo3, it will be massive and I think now that people should stop raining on it's parade and let the fans enjoy it. I cant wait for the release so that I dont have to read about it, but, that is just my opinion and I hope it is as good as the hype has been building.

You are mad! not everyone likes halo. Has this thought even crossed your mind? I am not bashing halo, I think it will be great and sell loads but, there are other things happening too. For one, I am sure that I read that a playable crysis demo will drop the SAME DAY!

You could also say halo copied wolfenstein? Although it does look like the same sort of direction graphically. I hope this turns out good, but I haven't liked the way the devs have been saying "we will do this better than halo3" etc. They seemed very pre-occupied with halo and maybe this will show on its release
Think of it this way instead. A pre alpha kz2 graphically compares easily with gold halo3 so, all they can slate is ai. What will be next? the sound effects in halo3 are better than kz2? lol @ egm because kz2 is so awsome that this is the best they can do.
