With amount of tech in the controller I completely understand why it costs that much. Gyro, amiibo support, HD rumble and more. PlayStation controller is $60 with less and unused tech. You will use all the tech except maybe for amiibo stuff...
You won't know the specs until you see more games. Its a heavily custom chip at much lower power level. The way the games look and preform is how you will know the specs. This is Nintendo we are talking about.
