This is an action-adventure RPG not an action-adventure game alone. If RPGs aren't you're thing then I understand. But an 8-minute gameplay video doesn't do it justice like a non RPG game like Quantum Break.
The fact that it's an open world, has those fragons, features 4-player co-op, and the same directors as the original DMC on PS2 would even make my grandma excited.
Fact remains that PS4 hasn't evolved the way Xbox One has, in terms of features. Xbox One has been listening to fan fanback and actively make updates every month. The fact that Backwards Compatibility is an update tells you how much MS is listening.
Sony's been releasing only stability updates and a proper update only every once in a while.
MS themselves know it won't sell as much as PS4 in Europe. Nevertheless they can still try to boost their sales still. And if this conference doesn't do it then they'll keep trying until they figure it out cause that's MS for ya.
The article doesn't even say it will help it catch up to PS4 in Europe. What it does say is it may have given Xbox the edge, and it does. People all over the globe watched MS' Gamescom and might think about buying one now ins...
Has there ever been a better conference in the history of Gamescom? I remember last year the only highlight for MS was Tomb Raider, year before that the only highlight was Fable Legends. This Gamescom had what, 10 highlights?
That's your opinion why you saying it like it's fact?
I think Killer Instinct, DR3, Titanfall, Halo MCC, Titanfall, Forza Horizon 2, and Sunset Overdrive are worth shouting about judging by reviews. Really dude nothing. Also PS4 owners can shout about Bloodborn that game is really good too.
Have no worries my friend, same director of Crackdown 1 is director of 3.
My personal top games 1. Quantum Break 2. Crackdown 3 3. Scalebound
I also like how Quantum Break is releasing in Spring along with Recore and Killer Instinct 3, Crackdown is releasing in the Summer, and Scalebound in the fall along with Gears 4 and Halo Wars 2. Awesome :)
Keep in mind this is a gamescom. Since when has gamescom conference ever had anything earth-shattering? Also QB, Crackdown and Scalebound all blew me away. Any one of those demoes alone would warrant an earth-chattering conference. Also two AAA announcements for next year to add to the already huge flood of AAAs. And every game had a release date!
I think PS4 people are more than happy about their PS4 cause of UC4 and Horizon, especially UC4. But I still think they get a little jealous every once in a while from from games like Sunset Overdrive, Titanfall, Quantum Break, Crackdown, FH2, and such among others.
Hell, I'm extremely jealous of UC4, so it goes both ways too.
Agreed! I came into Gamescom expecting a lot and was very satisfied at the end of the show. Only bad part were those boring indies. Also I think Homefront looks bad just like the original which had bad graphics and was 6-hours? How the hell does a 6-hour game with no multiplayer have bad graphics?
-Four amazing gameplay demos of MS' heavy hitters, two of which were never before seen gameplay -Crackdown 100% destructibility -Scalebound is RPG and open-world with co-op -Quantum Break's amazing line of actors (big fan of the wire) -Killer Instinct Season 3 -Halo Wars 2 announcement
Literally can't imagine how fun the co-op will be! Will probably be the best co-op game ever! Then again Scalebound has co-op and that's an open world rpg with dragons lmao. Will be tough, but I think Crackdown will still be the best. Looking back at how fun co-op was in the original and then watching this, you'll go nuts!
I'm assuming you didn't like the last Tomb Raider? That was praised by many, and this is a huge step forward. Looks like everything you can expect from a sequel.
Doesn't matter. Fifa is like CoD in Europe. Remember the wait for Modern Warfare 2? How horrible that last week was? Yea, that's why I think it's such a big deal to FIFA fans in Europe. And that's a lot of people.
EDIT: Hmm, I guess I'm trolling because I'm praising Phil Spencer a little too much? Wait, isn't this an Xbox article?
@Hammad Not really, but I'm sure people in Europe might buy an Xbox One because of those ...
