more fanboy bickering, nothing to see here
Couldn't happen to a nicer company.
How about EA just butt out and give DICE the time to finish a game for once? And don't think you can release a game and 4 or 5 map packs all in a year so you can release a new game annually.
That my friend...is an opinion.
Needs more variety. There was a lot of repetition within each task making 100% completion too much like a chore. Maybe more RPG elements next time.
Do whatever you want. More troll bait.
More next gen in everything but where it counts. As a longtime xbox gamer I am disappointed in how badly MS screwed this generation up, how badly they got it wrong. They just are not listening to their customer base, they are listening to executives who know nothing but act like they do. Their next-gen innovations have left the actual gaming machine well underpowered, surprising everyone with their lower resolution launch games. Kinect was never the answer to their greedy dreams. They did not...
I take it you are from the US. Right now the only enemy of the US is the US government. It is the US government provoking North Korea so they can justify a large military presence in Asia. It is the US pushing for war in with Iran over the petrodollar all the while trying every lie under the sun to justify it. This includes blaming the Syrian govt for chemical weapons, as a war with Syria is a war with Iran, claiming Iran are building nuclear weapons just to get them back on board with the pe...
@ SlapHappyJesus - common sense really. It introduces an advantage into the game that others will not have, effectively ruining the gaming experience for everyone else... and for what, so some selfish asshat can think they are better than they really are.
Why stop there, why not add rapid fire etc., one improves aim, one improves firing rate. Still cheating and unsporting. The point is fun, not winning at all costs, screwing everyone else in the process.
Thes...
If it gives you an advantage over the other person then it makes a difference to the gameplay and effectively breaks the game.
It is simple... controller vs controller and mk vs mk, anything else is not a fair fight. Stop the crap and grow up, this is not about silly debates, this is about common sense.
What would be the point?
Console shooters were intended to be played with a controller. This is cheating as it gives you an unfair advantage over the other players, to deny this simple fact is to deny reality. It is gamers like you that are happy to ruin it for everyone else so you can think because you are beating others, you are a better player, even if it requires cheating. All you do is spoil their experience. What a great guy you must be.
The market might be right for it. I do think the latest generation of consoles have shipped underpowered when you look at the current state of PC gaming (both hardware and games) and then to where it will be in even 5 years. Both consoles were clearly rushed to market and the timing was bad.
You have to remember mainstream 4K is about to drop. Anyone buying a TV in 2 years will be looking at 4K TVs as well. Being upgradeable etc, the Steambox will be able to cover this leap ...
All electronics companies do this and have for at least a decade. It could be worse, they could insist on repairing it, at which point they send it back saying they have fixed it and you go through this another 2 times.
Take it back to the store first, they will care more about you than a large international corporation.
Just more clueless bashing by ignorant idiots. Yes it sucks, but it is not just MS, they all do it because this is business.
I think we will see more hybrid FPS games... like FPS with more RPG elements and better, less linear story telling. This is the problem, a dozen games playing exactly the same with rubbish cliched stories. FPS MMO, FPS RPG, FPS RTS if FPS is going to offer anything new. But I suspect with VR coming out, FPS will go back to the tired old formulas and rely on VR for the wow factor, much like the movie industry does with CGI and 3D.
But it is not going anywhere, it offers the m...
*They're just as delusional.
Stay in school.
It is sad.
Someone didn't read the article.
MS is still trying to be the next Wii. They forgot who made them who they are in the console industry. They forced Kinect and made the controller for smaller hands, what more evidence do we need. Then market the TV features like TV is the newest best thing and not declining like it is.
They employed non gamers to make all the decisions and have lost their way. Going for the obvious money grab thinking we would, not only buy it, but praise it. The idiots deserve to fail.
Their focus on Kinect is when it started, they wanted the Nintendollar and it backfired.
Both companies exist solely to please investors.
