LBP will probably give you much more replay value, and it is an amazing game.
LBP2 is even better, what with the hugely improved story mode and vast toolset.
What they need is to have both options available, like what Warhawk does. A server list, and a "quick match" button to throw you into the best choice.
It doesn't seem like any game dev has gotten matchmaking right. I constantly get thrown into a game with my team losing horribly, the match being almost over, etc. Plus, getting together with friends is usually much easier with server lists -- Just give them the IP Address/Host name and you're good to go.
Only Sony fanboys? You're kidding, right?
I game mostly on the PC, but some on the 360 and PS3 as well.
Call of Duty continues to under-perform with every game.
It's a joke. Not meant to be taken seriously.
Though, not a very funny one...
It's obviously a joke.
You haven't been paying attention in LBP2 for the past few months, have you?
A camera glitch was discovered that allows you to shove the camera down into a 3D first=person perspective sorta-thing.
Nope, but it doesn't matter, because the game itself is still completely functional.
If you were talking about an online-only game that you had to pay monthly for, then yes, reimbursement should be given.
@vickers500
You still own the fully-functional copy of the game (not being able to play online doesn't mean it isn't functional), and there are no defects with the system that you bought. Therefore, you are owed nothing.
@therapist
Normally I'd agree, but the PS3 version comes with a code for the Steam version, as well as Steamworks integration.
I have a PlayStation Plus subscription, and I still don't think I'm owed anyth...
The Steam Cloud backs up all of your saves, not a single one.
That one is quite deserving of its horrendously low user score.
Don't expect TF2's servers to EVER go down.
Team Fortress 2 is still alive and strong on the PC, although the console versions are like a dead shell of the far superior PC version.
Cave Johnson is the founder of Aperture Science, in case you didn't know. ^_^
Since that doesn't include digital copies, and the vast majority of PC gamers buy on Steam, chances are the PC version is the #1 most pre-ordered overall.
I'm getting the PS3 version since I'll also get the PC version -- which is great, because then I can play on my PC when my family isn't using it, and on my PS3 when they are.
The little personality core that helps you is named Wheatley, and he doesn't fly.
The main character in the story of both Portal 1 and 2 is Chell.
Yes, your save will carry over.
I personally can't wait for Guild Wars 2 or Diablo III, as well.
The PS4 is very likely to be backwards compatible, as long as they stick with an improved version of the cell processor, because it is still the same architecture.
Portal 2 comes out in April (next month). It has co-op.
To all those that have seen it, try this Eye Bleach: http://eyebleach.com/
They don't even have to pay for the servers themselves. Just let the community run the damn things, just like dedicated servers on the PC. It generally works much better for all sides this way.
