From a gamer's perspective -- main problem of Vista is that it takes hell lot of RAM unlike XP (SP3 makes it even better). I hope they fix it with Windows 7.
I am excited to play the it as I wanna know what exactly happens to Hale (IGN ruined a little bit of surprise though). Coming onto the visuals part, they don't seem too great to me.
Textures are somewhat low res, though the game looks sharp and runs at an awesome framerate maybe that's the reason the visuals are kinda dumped down.
All in all, a GREAT game with superb MP mode.
I am glad Sony delayed the game to 2009 as the game is too good to get mixed up with all the titles releasing in the same time frame.
Graphics are seriously wicked, it shows what could be achieved on the system if developers pour in enough time and resources. one doubt though -- the bad framerate was a result of it being a beta or bad camera?

Isn't it a bit strange from R*'s side, absolutely no hype for Midnight Club whereas people were biting their nails for GTA IV launch.

Funny no one cared about piracy when PS2 was considered as the biggest platform for pirated and more games. Now suddenly everyone has a problem?

It's all about the features and providing customers with more and more choice without delays.
I guess the OS will be having the same Aero look like Vista, with some added features and smoothness.
M quite excited to know about the requirements and performance though. I hope they took the XP-is-faster-than-Vista arguments seriously and worked on that. I don't see any other reason of bringing out a new OS this soon.

lol! Imagine what will happen to the framerate if video capturing is enabled in GTA IV. Sorry to say this but current consoles cannot just record videos like we do in PC via Fraps.
So don't even think of Resistance 2, Killzone 2 developers even considering this feature. Might be possible for Arcade games though.
You don't want me to compare the number of modded 360s with the total number of PCs that could easily download and run Saints Row 2 now do you?

lol! my friends are already playing Grid(PC) online on the official servers and m waiting with 60$ in hand for it to release for the PS3. I dunno why Codemasters isn't doing anything about the MP.

It's a relief tbh. I have only seen one video of BF: BC running on PS3 and it had a lot of screen tearing, I hope the developers take care of that before shipping the game.

Well, if it's possible on PS3 and Xbox 360(yes! it's not been properly hacked yet), it's possible on PC too.

Oh well, what shall I say about the game, this one is bound to go in the FPS' history books for sure. The wait will be worth it, finally. T3h Cell + Blu-Ray finally paid off.
