Excited with an extra dose of excited. This is the GTA i have been waiting since San Andreas.
Hopefully not seeing as the new consoles are easier to develop for. Bearing in mind we will probably have a new Red Dead game before GTA6, so it might be a while. I think 6 years is a little excessive though. I'd say 4-5.
"The leaks are Rockstar's fault. "
No, they're not.
@XB1 PS4
"The PS4 is built for hardcore gamers, with casuals in mind. The XB1 was always meant to be an entertainment box for the family. "
I agree, but $100 difference would be very tempting to a casual with no interest in specs or the industry goings on.
Exactly, the casual gamer is going to see the PS4 and Xbox One next to each other in the store and be more inclined to buy the PS4 purely based on price. Casuals don't care about specs, they see the cheaper console and choose that one.
If i worked on something since 2008 and put my blood sweat and tears into it, i wouldn't want people leaking anything either. If people have legit copies, then good for them, by all means play the hell out of it, but suffer the consequences if you leak content.
So why click the article and comment?
And i disagree with you calling it a "interactive movie", sure it's extremely cinematic and has quick time events, but you still control Jodie and Aiden, you still walk/run, you don't just watch the cutscene and press a few buttons every now and again.
Bubbled you up for well said. ;)
True, RDR was much better on the Xbox 360. Im glad R* hasn't made the same mistake with GTA5.
Seems kind of fitting that i play it on PS3 due to me loving San Andreas on the PS2. And i kinda see GTA5 as the spiritual successor to San Andreas.
PS3, because of the trailers.
Thanks :D
In my opinion:
1. Highly detailed/authentic worlds.
2. Multi /interchangeable protagonist storylines.
3. GTA Online (not just adding the usual bog standard multiplayer)
The Last Of Us, Beyond 2 Souls and GTA5 at the end of a generation, what a way to end it.
@DoctorJones
I say "end of a generation" purely because next gen consoles are out in November, i know current gen still has life left yet :)
NO. The sky was a totally different colour, are you blind? It was later in the day on the PS3 footage.
Seems a bit stupid doing a comparisons at 2 different times of day, but apart from that they both look exactly the same to me which is great.
So bring on Tuesday! The detail and authenticity of those streets is amazing!
No, they didn't say "Female Lead wont work in a GTA world". They said:
"The concept of being masculine was so key to this story."
Don't try and twist the words.The STORY of this game in particular wouldn't work with a female lead, not the world.... so the authors point is completely wrong.
Also, GTA online isn't a "mirror image" of GTA5's story......where did you read that? Lol.

"The concept of being masculine was so key to this story."
They aren't going to add a female to a game just to please people and dodge accusations of sexism. If the story requires masculinity, then expect a mostly male cast. It's as simple as that.
What? Why did you quote me talking about the online portion and then reply by talking about the singleplayer?
You can play as either a female or a male ONLINE, in the STORY you can only play as males, the reasons for that are R*'s reasons, if you truly believe those reasons are as petty as sexism, then you need to re evaluate your thinking.
Its too be expected on current gen with a game of this size unfortunately. Lets hope next gen and PC versions get announced soon.
