Only difference being of course that GTA4 has been pretty much the only dip in quality R* have had whereas AC hasn't quite been the same since AC2, up until now it seems anyway.
We read the article, you don't need to keep quoting the same thing over and over. People have been playing driving games for decades, rumbling triggers won't make anyone a better driver, looking at the screen and seeing where your car is on the track and making adjustments with the stick will. The same way it has for every other driving game.
Rumbling triggers for Forza 5 is just a nice little gimmick, the same as the touchpad for the DS4.

ZBlacktt, i think this is one of the rare times where i actually wholeheartedly agree with you. I see the transition from AC3 to AC4 similar as the transition from GTA4 to GTA5.

Man, this has been getting some really good reviews. I might have to check this out seeing as i loved Telltales TWD.
I really like the part where they are all singing pirate songs while cruising the ocean, adds a nice atmosphere.
But if every other gameplay video we watch shows games which we would judge as "next gen", it would make sense to make the same assumption about AC4 from youtube videos too right?

Yeah i agree, while i must say the SP does look very nice (still don't think it looks next gen, maybe current gen.5) the MP portion of this game looks straight up current gen.
Most of the time the bigger the game/franchise then the less risks the dev/pub takes in fear of losing profit. Which is why we see the most creative games from arcade/indie devs in my opinion, with a few exceptions of course.
Yeah, seems even now months after the reveal the main reason people are talking about the Xbox One is because of something negative. From DRM to 180 to weaker hardware to degraded games to damage control to bad consumer relations (Don't like it? Buy a 360).
I don't think there will ever be two console reveals that are night and day different in their reception/reveal ever again like there has been with the PS4 and Xbox One.

Huge GTA fan here (understatement) and each game has it strong points but it pains to me to say TLOU is the better game in my opinion.
