Nice, i hopefully will have an X1 not long after then. Can't wait to play RYSE, Titanfall and Forza 5.
I agree with not wanting to divert attention from the tv screen, especially seeing how awesome the games on the tv are going to look!
Good choice in my opinion, still a touch sensitive add on but without the need to actually look at it to use it. That red/black controller is sexy too!
Haha, "souless"
First, it's "soulless". Second, staring out over a gorge/valley on horseback while the sun sets over the map is anything but soulless.
"And this gentlemen is why we've seen the PS4 freeze/overheat multiple times"
Omg, prime example of misinformation on the internet, let me school you. The PS4 was placed in a glass box and a warning light/message came on saying that the console was getting hot, they reset it and it worked fine. ONCE it happened, not "multiple times".
There was no freeze/overheat. Please,PLEASE do some research before you pollute the internet. Thanks.
Wow, that last pic. How the hell is the PS4 so small?
Magic i tells ya!
The Xbox really isn't as big as i remember thinking it was.....
This is a videogame news website, expect to hear all kinds of videogame talk. He's just giving a link to a comparison that some people might find interesting. He isn't trolling or being immature, so what's the problem?
Definitely up there with the best.
So that was the very exciting announcement Sigh. Nothing like getting your hopes up and receiving a swift kick to the nuts.
Omar from The Wire!
Dem graphics.
Im going to have to wait until next year to play this, when i buy my X1 i will buy this game at the same time.
Ahhhh playstation 1, playing Crash Bandicoot and Abes Oddysee as a 6 year old boy.
Edit: wtf, every comment has 3 disagrees. Is this some sort tactical stealth disagree task force?
"I have no idea why the industry has put more and more emphasis on launch windows and first day sales."
I agree, The deciding factor on which console is the best has suddenly been deemed as the console that the most launch titles. Launch titles are games made to sell the system at launch, every gamer old enough to remember more than one past console launch knows this. The better/more accurate representations of what a console can do come in the couple of years after...
I hate being called a consumer, it conjures up images of jabba the hutt eating noisily and quickly. Lol.
2014 is the year for the PS4. Apart from launch titles, what have we seen for X1?. Your statement works both ways.
People forgetting the PS3 launch compared to how many games/exclusives it has now, yet again. Look at how many exclusives the PS3 has had in recent years compared to the 360. People are going to go with the company that is blatantly more focused on games/gamers, not the company which ONLY has a strong launch line up, because consoles are for the best part of a de...
"This guy needs to get a life"
I hear this sentence so much these days, what actually constitutes as "getting a life"? You know why you can't tell me the answer? Because its opinion/persepctive, that's why. If that guy wants to write a million words on something then that's his choice, but because it isn't something YOU wouldn't do or approve of then he needs to get a life?
"Omg you play videogames all day? Get a l...
Prime examples:
The walking dead (Telltale game not the crappy Activision game)
Journey
Limbo
Brothers: A tale of two sons
Those are the ones that spring immediately to mind. There are tons more.
@Agent
But it can be applied to all good games too, not just arcade/indie/artistic games.
There isn't an issue to address, people have been gaming for decades and an internet connection has never been needed, so based off that, people know this already and don't need to be reminded by MS trying to act like good guys after what they tried to pull with DRM and 24 check ins.
Do you see Sony or Nintendo saying that an internet connection is not required one month before launch? No, because its common knowledge and has been for decades. It reminds me of that o...
It was a joke people, calm down.
I love how they let us know that we don't need to be connected to the internet to play offline games, like they are doing us some sort of favour. We never have needed to have an internet connection to play offline and you shouldn't need to remind people of it, it shouldn't even be an issue to address.
To the disagrees, what are you actually disagreeing with? Would you actually PREFER to have to be connected to the internet to play offline games? Jesus Christ the l...
Good read, nice to hear someone who thinks that graphics arent the be all and end all.
"“It’s more about interesting, unique takes in an artistic sense than just pushing more bits".
*Applauds*
Nvidia sound really butt hurt that their tech isn't in Next gen consoles too, what an immature, irrelevant thing to say.
