I know, i actually thought we would see differences LATER on in the gen when devs have got used to the hardware some more. But differences showing at the start of a gen? The gap can only get bigger from here on....
This will be the game i will be picking up for the X1 when i buy the X1 next year...Titanfall and Forza 5 along with it. Love me some slow mo gladiator action.

Did they "need" to? No. But they did it because of the uproar from gamers about MS policies and they knew gamers would love to see that nothing had changed in that regard on Sonys part. As i said above it was just some light hearted humour, and truth :p
If you look back to before and during the PS3 launch then yeah, they did come across arrogant sometimes. But they seemed to have learned their lesson, if they say anything even slightly arrogant these days its always in good taste and light hearted in my opinion.....and most of the time its true :p

In terms of videogame storytelling? A lot actually. Uncharted 1 (2007) brought us unmatched facial animations creating more believable emotions, beautiful locations, excellenty written characters all with unique personalities with top notch mo cap and dialogue. UC2 and TLOU improved upon those things even more.

They SOMETIMES have some pretty decent "deal of the week" prices and i used to absolutely abuse the " 2 for £20" deal they had going. The prices for new games are WAY too high though....and they wonder why they are going under!

My friend works at my local Blockbuster and he said they aren't getting next gen consoles in stock at that store, no BF4 or CoD either......hard times for BB, but surely BF4 and Cod would make them a ton of money......? Makes zero sense to me.

Some of the worst games ive ever played were probably Kane and Lynch, Vampire Rain, Mercenaries 2, Thor 2011 videogame, CSI,Haze, Brink, The Walking Dead: Survival Instinct.

This is brilliant news, being able to play BF4 (and many other games that are on PS4) on your vita is a major selling point for some people, and you try to sarcastically downplay it? Sigh.
People are still using the IGN and DF BF4 comparisons? Jackfrags has footage from both consoles on his YouTube page and they clearly show the PS4 version to be the better looking/running. Ive also downloaded 60fps direct feed footage from both the ps4 and X1 and again the PS4 looks better.
I have NO idea why the PS4 version looked so washed out in those other comparisons because on Jackfrags videos the colours are fine.

Shame about the story and the enemy AI. Im sure i will have fun exploring the map on AC4 but i was really hoping for an upgrade when it comes to story quality and enemy AI (which were both a big problem for AC3). Shame about the core mechanics too, they have been in need of an overhaul for a long time. It seems that most of the reviews ive read are saying that the positives are mainly visual and the negatives are mainly story and mechanics. I hope future AC releases don't rely too much on...
That sucks for PC gamers, but Bungie's attitude towards this is so respectable, as is most of the decisions they make.
Lets hope it gets a future release so our PC brethren can play this game too.
