Nintendo saved CONSOLE gaming. Gaming was being done on the PC just fine.
I know I will still be playing my ps3 even with the ps4 being with me. I have amassed of huge library of titles a lot of which I haven't played due to ps+.
PS3 is by no means an unplayable machine due to a new system coming out, it's an HD console and it's games won't look like complete crap on your HDTV like older systems do most of the time.

I would say that not only Sony has surpassed Nintendo in defining gaming in general but are also right on track to lead it into the future.
Sony will lead the next gen of gaming with their amazing PS4 console and great expertise and willingness to put gamers first.

I wonder what games some of these Xbox Fanboys are talking about? Microsoft only showed Quantum break (No gameplay, TV Show game?) (Spark=doesn't look too bad but Xbox fangirls are shooter enthusiasts, this won't sell) and Killer Instinct which comes from some dev who's never done a fighting game and has a weird free to play model.

I think the real problem with the vita is that sony has practically done NO MARKETING whatsoever for it. I have a vita and it's an amazing piece of hardware. Amazing games available for it and quite an extensive library thanks to it's amazing exclusive games like gravity rush, uncharted, little big planet as well as psone and psmobile games.

I'm actually intrigued by this series lately, seen the game FFXIII cheap for like 15 bucks. I think I will give it a try asap. Square-enix keeps pumping these games out so there has to be fans out there enjoying them.
