If this is true, I'm definitely picking up a vita for Christmas.I'll still be buying my ps3 titles and once a month a get 2 free (totally awesome) games just cause I got a subscription to ps plus for vita.

I agree completely with your sentiments, however I don't see trophies or achievements disappearing any time soon.
There is definitely potential in the achievement/trophy systems.it's a great idea however pointless.
For next gen I would like to see a reward system associated with all games, for example getting a platinum may unlock cheat codes, extras, avatars or profile images etc
Come to think of it even better world be to get at least a discount on the subsequent dlc they will most certainly feed down our throats in the future.the way I see it is if a gamer likes your game...

absolutely brilliant post. couldnt agree more. the core game mechanic change quite alot and yet the game remains familiar,fresh and indeed a sequel. not many devs can do this or even have the balls to attempt to do this, yet kojima manages this every bloody time! the guy is definately a genius and his team are very talented individuals.

in the process of finishing it as we speak, and by finishing it i mean unlocking the last extra ops and then start dwelving in the online vs ops.
the game is unbelievably fun. story is up there with the 4 main metal gears and the gameplay is the best one ive played yet. at first i was annoyed that it was bundled in the HD collection instead of mgs1 but boy am i glad to have given it a try.

Yeah but remember there will be tons of games coming out as the vita is still in its infancy.it's not been out for even a year yet.I buy games on a regular basis day one buy I don't have time to buy all major releases day one.
I got red dead recently from ps plus and I've never played it before.such a high quality game for free mentality will continue on the vita or at least that's what Sony should keep doing.
