Yes but why would Sony do that? Do Microsoft and Sony know the specs of each others next gen consoles? Sony must be very confident with this because what if Microsoft reveals something slightly better? Japan would have been a bad move because of all the Japanese themed games lately. Nioh, Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima to name a few.
One problem is that Assassins Creed always has been about cities and beautiful places. The vikings didn't have big cities like ancient Greece or Rome so the setup of the game would have to be completely different

As someone who play all Souls games from Demon Souls to Bloodborne, I can say Sekiro is easier. But like all Souls games you have to understand how to play the game. You can't play Sekiro the same way you play Dark Souls or Bloodborne because then it will be difficult.
And for the ones having trouble with Boss fights, I suggest watching how speedrunners kill them. It's a good way to learn how to defeat the bosses.
I would say that Sekiro is the most different from all Souls games. Bloodborne is just on a whole other level, a true masterpiece

For boss fights: deflect everything. I learned that unlike Bloodborne dodging isn't as effective in Sekiro
Timeless indeed. I bought this game back in 1998 on the PS1, and I still play it from time to time. One of the best games ever made
Bloodborne is 1080p 30fps so this much better. 60fps in fast paced games is far more important than resolution
Edit: Now I hear that the frame rate is not locked to 60fps but varies between 45 and 60 with low 30 in some areas. If true that sucks
