You can do whatever you want with your money and say whatever you want, but your criticisms have zero weight if your giving them money. Money speaks infinitely louder than pointless words in the comment section of N4G.
Is that the best you got, just call me a fanboy over and over because I make points your "debating skills" can't counter? If you were so good at debating you wouldn't need to change the subject with insults.
So, you're choice is to keep paying his bonus so you won't be inconvenienced
You should quit pretend criticizing them.
It's your fault for not realizing what type of company Microsoft was sooner. Some people have been telling you what Microsoft was for years. There really is no excuse.
The the industry would have been in a better place and many of the 10,000 people would still have a job. Maybe even more people would still have jobs considering it was Microsoft that was the first to start heavy layoffs and they are forcing the whole industry to follow suit and run cheaper and also to turn to AI because they all need to be able to make games as cheap as Microsoft does to stay c...
What I want is for Microsoft to not own Zenimax or ABK, I wish what had happened is the FCC blocked both their purchases and then forced Microsoft to split it's hardware/Xbox division off on the grounds that they have an unfair competitive advantage/monopoly.
I see and have always seen Game Pass as a detriment to gaming as a whole. Microsoft has caused millions of gamers particularly on console...
Xbox fans ARE defending this or shrugging it off. All they care about is what's on Game Pass next month. The only thing I see Xbox fans being mad about is the fact that their games got canceled. They certainly aren't mad that Microsoft was allowed to buy ABK or Zenimax or calling for boycotts. They seemed pretty eager to jump back on their console war battle wagon on the Helldivers 2 news today. Not talking about how they were going to buy it, just the...
Does it matter? Who is going to question what they do? All the big gaming/news sites are either on the payroll or too cowardly to take them to task over any of this or anything they do. They almost certainly knew exactly what they were doing and how it would come across and did it anyway.
And clearly Microsoft consumers aren't going to stop buying what they are selling, heck they're defending it.
That doesn't mean it will make money or that the long term effect will be beneficial. Microsoft thought their bad moves were going to make them money as well...
Yea.... clearly it's been good news for Xbox for years... that's obviously how Xbox achieved last place and have had to close around 20 studios in two generations.
Microsoft is so much worse than EA, they aren't even in the same league, but I guess people voted EA the worst company over predentary lenders, blood diamond companies or even Microsoft.
it's sad that people are just realizing Microsoft is bad for the industries, it's even more sad that by next week everyone will have forgotten this just like all the other rounds of layoffs. If next week Microsoft was to announce it was going to buy another publisher all the same sites would be telling us how it's the best thing ever and "this is exactly what the industry needs"...
You only have to look at the zero criticism articles written by IGN, E...
Not even surprised, this is the company that would go make big presentations at shows and say on the big screen to millions of people they were playing games on console then get caught actually playing the games on PC. They also started this gen off by showing trailers of games that weren't even in production yet.
It's funny though, how many times Microsoft has got caught outright lying (even in court) and doing stuff like this, yet the media reaction is always sur...
Well, if you remember it's forming it was largely formed out of people Microsoft poached from PlayStation Studios like Naughty Dog and Insomniac and others. So, one can assume the point was to disrupt and industrial espionage PlayStations biggest studios. They weren't even making their own game, so it's hard to see how this was ever a real studio.
