Knowing very little about either game, besides TV Ads, the cover for the Overwatch is more simple and appealing to me than Battleborn. And maybe the release for Battleborn came in conflict with the near release date for Uncharted 4.

You don't need PS4K for VR. Unless you want the VR games to appear in native 1080p. The PSVR games that I got to demo were running smooth on the current PS4 but at an upscaled image of probably 720-900p..
