The CGI tactic just like Ubisoft.
And they wanted AAA games to be sold at a lower retail price? Smh..
Maybe in the old days when games take shorter amount of time to make with minimum budget, but today's games are way more sophisticated and require bigger budget so it's not easy when everything seems to fall into place for the target date when suddenly a serious bug or budget issue gets in the way come close to launch date.
I, too, don't like delays, but when it happens, i support every developer that does it because it's usually worth it.
But gamers are complaining about delays and every game should release on target date regardless of the problems. You guys asked for it, so now enjoy it.
3 years seems like a long time but since it takes 2-3 years for devs to make games these days, seems about right.
Darn... Bloodborne isn't on there... Here's hoping it will be on there soon.
Currently, the X1 S can't play UHD movies so owners are still waiting for an update. Now, that makes me wonder if that can be the case for the Pro. Sony releases an update for the drive to read UHD, Pro owners can rest easy.
I currently own a 4KTV that supports HDR and it does a nice job of upscaling HD movies - impressive unless you stand 1 meter from the screen.
Welp, I'm getting the pro since it's launching in two months instead of 5+ months.
Hum... I'm expecting awesome demos the 1st party teams can do with Neo.
What to expect? I expect to be happy.
Since everybody is playing the guessing game, I'll play as well: Neo will boast 9TFlops and launches in December.
Right. Those shovelware titles kept me from making the purchase. But what's different this time around is not just the support from the big name 1st and 3rd parties, but also indies. Unfortunately, I'm not impressed with some of the indie titles for VR so far. But lets not forget there are other backers that aren't even game developers that are interested in PSVR/VR if you know what i mean.
Plain and simple: the games will determine the demand. Put out the right content and watch the demand sore. Give the consumers the reason to want one. Xwing VR, Ace Combat 7, Drive Club, etc are some of the reason I'm getting the PSVR.
Btw, I didn't read the entire article because of malware warning.
How Sony can shock everyone - Neo @ 9TFLOPS and it launches in this November.
Oh my...that Last Airbender cosplay... HHHHAWWWTTT..
No Ace Combat 7?! *Flips table*
Currently, there are 16 512MB of GDDR5 on the PS4 mboard so I wouldn't be surprised if Sony decided to replace each one with 1 gb which brings the total amount of RAM to 16GB of GDDR5. We'll all know in one week!
I like her, great choice, ND!
Ugh, the Eli mission....smh.
Yeah, that's like comparing the PS4 to the X1 with cloud power. MS said soon but where is it?
