I think it's perfect timing. We're in the mid cycle of the console. Sony could have gone with the usual phase of releasing slim models with lowered price tags, and wait 6 years to release a new gen console. But instead they released an upgrade at a cost of no more than $400 to cater to those who wish for a more advanced PS4 for their power needs and/or 4K TV. So, yes, I think they played it safe by making an advanced PS4 at a cost of no more than $400.
Whoa...that statue looks amazing as F*&*! Here's my money!
@Majin-vegeta
Can't preorder.....yet? Hopefully very soon!
I want to say that's what digital is for, but as a fan of physical, bummer. Sega needs to hurry because other great titles are releasing soon and they might deter some away from this .
Yes, if released at $399 with great new features and IPs announced at E3 all with a humble approach. Communicate well to the consumers. No more arrogant BS, and unfortunately, fire some people.
The Xbox 360 launched 4 years after Xbox. :/
Sea of Thieves reminds me of Assassins Creed: Black Flag.
Yes, the games. Just because it's been quiet doesn't mean there aren't devs busy at work on VR games. It's not like they have to constantly reveal/tweet their project to the public. They have to remain silent to prevent other devs from borrowing/stealing their ideas.
I like to dim the living room when using VR; it looks really cool when the blue LEDs lit up from all around the headset!
Damn, stuck between 4k vs VR. I might have to play the game twice!
It should be celebrated because they do read our comments. Lets all not speak of it and assume devs will not add micro transactions while devs assume we will like mc so they'll put their time into it instead of focusing on the intrinsic development of the game.
Should I play it in VR? FFFFF*&^ yeah! But I'll play it slow as a turtle to avoid nausea.
Even if DR4 wasn't timed exclusive and released on multiple platforms, it's still a flop compared to the 1st DR. It needs another year in development...just like SFV.
"I played the entirety of Resident Evil 7’s 12+ hour story from start to finish inside of the PS VR headset and it was absolutely incredible."
Nice... I like this review. Appreciate the full coverage on the VR experience.
"I didn't want to play entirely in VR since the majority of players would be playing without it, but as soon as I strapped in, I had a hard time leaving."
I'm ready... :)
Thanks for covering the VR aspect. Although, I can only wish there's an option for the movement - i would like to try the smooth movement and see if that will work for me in VR.
I'll tell you what happened: PSVRs are out of stock and are being sold at ridiculous prices on efffing ebay, Facebook, and Amazon! Some dude near me wants to sell it new for $1000. smh.
If they were to factor in PSVR, it would have made a difference.
3 year old tech, sounds about right.
I think EA is working a full X-Wing game for VR.
