I still think MS wanted a repeat of the 360 success by being a year ahead of the competition (hence RRD but resulted in great sales) to gain momentum first so that the 2nd wave of adapters will be their friends which continues the domino effect. I don't think the X1 was rushed, I think it was on target for 2013, but they were surprised by the PS4's 8gb of GDDR5 instead of the rumored 4gb, and the release window in the same year as the X1.

Yikes. Guess Respawn will have to lower the res to 1600p.
But but $2.5 billion went to Minecraft.....
The result of the X1X will determine their strategy on their next console release. Should they release ahead of Sony like the 360, or release after if the X is successful?.
If you think waiting for the updates is bad, how about the extra space needed for the 4K content? Quantum Break can require up to 178GB for the whole game.

Definitely saw some Fantasy Zone ideas in there.
Wonder if there will be a bank robbery situation: you greet customers who enter the bank every day and then it happened.
Latest trailer was Beyond my expectation.
X1X is sharper (higher res) and extra layer of texture on certain areas.
Prefer all those games to appear at PSX. Don't know why Death Stranding was shown at the Gamer's Award show.
It would be nice to have the option to create your character. Like Bloodborne,I feel more immersed when given that option. Doesn't matter where the settings or story.
They maybe a PS site but they do need to rally the fans to get clicks.
They did a really good job on characters survived or not on the TLOU; even the doctors at the end when we have to make a decision on their lives...at least for me it was.
They sure hammered single player games with multi uses of the hammer in the trailer that ended with a muscular arm holding a hammer.
Usually, I'm not a fan of Jim Ryan's comments, but I agree with him 100%.
Thank you Sony! Thank you!
To those who complain about the trailer, stay the f*#k away; like movies and shows, it's rated M for a reason.
Wow, that was awesome!
*Looks at dog tags in had* Talk to me, Goose.
Reminds me of Red Dead Redemption but in 1274 Japan - hype!
Um... like The Last of Us, God of War is a mature themed game. There maybe a kid in there, but it's a brutal game as well.
"...publishers don’t have to parent children, parents do."
That is correct! When I went to watch Ted, I was completely surprised by the amount of idiots who brought their kids to that movie as if it was a Disney movie. When the profanity flew at the beginning, a few left the room, but many didn't. Then the nude scene arrived and, yup, all the parents and kids got up and left - unbelievable. SMDH
