I think it will be $349-$399 because of higher units manufactured; the more they make, the cheaper the cost. I think they'll start with the pre-orders to see how many they need to manufacture; then, determine the number of units for the launch date: high preforders - $349. Low preorders - $399.
I'm one of those guys who do care res and stable frames because of last gen. I started playing Borderlands and Red Dead on the PS3 then switched over to the 360 and found out 360 versions were better overall. I couldn't stand the pixelated images and inconsistent frames on the PS3.
So for this gen, I'm sticking with the PS4. Do I feel the need to insult the other guy who's playing the same game at a lower performance? No! These kids who do insult others need to grow up...
WTF? What is this nose bleed I'm getting here? Why does it always happen when I look at hot... Oh.
From some one who loved the Xbox and 360, I still don't have a good reason to own the X1. When the Xbox launched, it had games and features that separated itself well from the console competition: HDD, four controller slots, Crimson Skies, Mech Warrior, Halo, KOTOR.
For the 360, Halo 3, Gears, Forza, Dead Rising, JRPGs, and other 3rd party exclusives like Ace Combat; these games really made me got the 360 early.
This gen, I think I'll pass on the X1.
Yes, but they would probably give it a different name: T.P.
Reminds me of that scene from the Simpsons where Lisa puts on the HMD to visit Genghis Khan.

I, for one, am currently not a fan of crowds in the game where you have to walk from point A to B to get to your next destination. I think it's stupid and a waste of resource. Unless, it's a game like Dead Rising where you can shoot, or dodge and run your way to safety.
Eh. There are pessimists everywhere, and I'd say let them think it's like Virtual Boy until they get the chance to try it. For the rest of us who tried it, we want it and can't wait for it.
Announce the release date and price already! Rrrraaawwwrrrr!...
Since Madcats manufacture fight sticks and Street Figther V is releasing soon, 40 million+ PS4s is the probability for me.
Not sure which country you're in, but in the US, the digital was on sale for under $20 during the holidays.
I remember many times waiting for the title theme music to end before I can start the game; it just gives me that great mood to get back into battle.
I thought my 1TB would last me for quite some time but it's only been a year and it's used up - had to delete some games.
Do you purchase your games disc or digital. Digital will eat more HDD space because of the convenience. Of course, for both any one can delete the games and reinstall later when they want to.
"Team Ninja have confirmed the game will place much more emphasis on challenging action, hack and slash style RPG combat than the Capcom series. Comparisons with Onimusha aside,..."
"gamers will no doubt be pleased that Team Ninja have confirmed the game will run at a butter smooth 1080p 60fps."
Wow! Even if they drop it to 30fps, it's a wow from me.
I don't think they made any vinyls nor broke them. Ba dum chtsss.
Welp, this means more room for the other guys.
If they release Summer Lessons as a full game, it'll make lots of single guys who own PSVR um... happy.
For those who can't get gud/handle a challenging game, how about implementing an Easy option for every game but limit the length of the game, e.g. Golden Axe. On easy setting, the game ends at Rom or The One Reborn.
No, not the same. The NX should be better since the current gen consoles are 3 years old. If the NX is just a tad better then Nintendo is just repeating itself in the competition like the WiiU and some of its previous gen consoles.
