I haven't used that one yet...I'll have to try it! I do like the axe though...beheadings in one go.
I never understood card based games myself. Yeah reading the back is a good idea, but who would have thought MGS video game would be a card game?
Is Section 8 even out yet?
@IcyJoker,
I'm sure there were some bad PS3 games (many of the listed ones are multi plat.) they just didn't play them.
I for one was one of the few who thought though good Killzone 2 was way over-rated. It wouldn't be on my list of crap games this year, but it would be my most disappointing for sure.
I do play mostly on my 360, but usually love the exclusives on PS3: can't wait for Uncharted 2!!!
A few from previous years there, but I'd agree with a lot of them...
Some I'm a bit surprised at, like Wolfenstein on PC and Ghostbusters (but I've not played it since it isn't released here in Oz on 360 yet!)
All those fools who say that there should be "duck and cover" system mechanics really are missing the point: duck and cover slows the 'run and gun' style that has always been part of Wolfenstein, and I personally love the fact the game feels so much faster...
You can kill a ton of enemies with a large number of weapons all while running around. No slow poke "enter new environment. Stop. Peer around corner. Roll and duck. Blind shoot and manuever to flanking positi...
There's no doubt that there are some pretty talented Kiwis!
I think I'd smash a few things myself if I had a go at the real Warthog!
It's amazing the detail of the work they had to do and there isn't even a movie for sure!
V8....Aussies start your engines.
Who do you support? Holden or Ford?
"It has certainly made me even more lustful for the game"
Ooo Car porn.
Yeah the PS3 is priced well finally. Blu Ray will make the difference for a lot of people, as well as some of the exclusives, but the 360 still has generally from what I've played the better multi platform versions of games. Not all...just most.
I still like my shiny fat PS3, even if it only has a small HDD, but I do most my gaming on 360.
Both are really good deals now: the Wii is not!
Awhile ago I found it cheaper to buy a new arcade and a 120 gig HDD separate and combine them, so that's what I got after I sold my Halo 360.
This is really what they needed to do after the smart (if a bit late) price cut by Sony.
Games do need to mature a bit story-wise away from the whole "winning" and "good or evil" mentality.
Bioshock's story did have some deeper themes but the gameplay still allowed you to ignore the whole deep stuff too, which kind of detracts from those deeper questions.
Looking good!
Pretty good comment too! Well put. Bubbles for that.
An oldie but its got that 4 player co-op fun that is missing from so many modern games.
Lol...the "orphanage" levels are pretty scary...all those kids' abused memories.
One of my favourites is the Thief: Deadly Shadows level on the "ghost ship". That was pretty freaky.
That's freaky! The older hospitals are worse too..
I can tell you I hate hospitals and have spent a little too much time in them, but my wife feels totally different being a nurse.
They do make very creepy locations for games trying to instill some fear or unease for sure!
Imagine working at Dr. Death's hospital like the writer!
I don't think it was the worst by far, but it was over-rated.
There are a number of reasons I think this but a big difference might have been co-op: the game was meant for it! And more diverse environments and less generic gung ho shooting!
