While that's true that they sold out.it does not say that it is a limited edition like the majora's mask with the scull kid statue.So where as everyone likely won't get one the first day,my guess is more are on the way.But only time will tell.
You can always buy the digital one,but I know thats a lesser option.I traded mine in for like $40 because of the free download that came with MK 8,and would still like to have the disc even though it plays the same ether way.
The limited edition was avabile a few days ago on amazon but pre orders sold out in about 10 minutes,the same with Gamestop.com but they lasted more like 3 hours,then they were only selling it bundled with the $35 guide beforeit sold out also.

This only works with one controller at a time and plugs into your wii remote.And is like $40 before shipping.No serious Smash player wants this thing.This is just the same thing as the Mayflash and costs a $10 plus more.

No,but you can buy a Mayflash GC adapter that will mimic a classic controller.Though they went up in price also from like $12 to $30 on Amazon since SSB launched and you need one per controller.
It was also on Xbox along with the second one.I never beat them but remember them fondly and may have to pick them up again.Thanks for the post,as they had long faded from my memory until now.Makes me wonder what else I forgot over the last dozen or so years.lol
It's mostly just free downloadable games these day's and the platinum gift was a game this year but I got the wario party game for wii u that was still a $30 game and could have got DKCR 3ds also $30.What people don't seem to get is it's not the glory day's of the Wii anymore and Nintendo is loosing money instead of banking it.It cost's a $hit ton of money to send all this free stuff out let alone make it.So we should just feel lucky they are still giving us anythin...

A few days ago it said add to cart and when I did it then said my cart was still empty.They should put a limit of 2 per buyer due to the fact these are just people just looking to resell or at least some kind of timer on the cart even if just like 15 min or something.I already have one and so it was no big deal for me but it sucks for those who think they got one just to have it snatched away.

I think they may have limited it for now because they had already made deals with third party's to produce their own controllers for Smash,before they came out and said they were going to sell this thing.Maybe they are just letting those company's sell some of those before they make more available?But even if they don't someone will make another non first party one very soon,You can bet on that.In the end it will be the first party controllers that matter most since no one can see...
No it does not,only the non Nintendo wireless ones the plug into the wii mote work as classic controllers.The adapter only works with smash, nintendo was very clear about that before they released it.
I bought the first one for 99 cents in a flash sale a few months ago,so it is just the second one that is not on PSN yet.Maybe what is new is the fact you can now play it on the Vita?
