I got one 2 weeks ago and have been playing it every day. It’s a lot easier to pick it up anywhere in the house to play. My only gripe is the internet sometimes causes a temporary disruption, but 98% of the time it runs smooth.
I thought Sony listed the Portal as a console. At least initially.

You’re speculating. You have no idea how much they would charge, and it’s fun factor by “word of mouth” seems anecdotal to you. I haven’t heard much either way.
MS revealed they closed Tango due to an exodus of OG talent there. It had nothing to do with sales but more to do with the little chance there was of repeating success with different talent.
They better port it over to PS5 by the holidays this year.

If Sony has a console exclusivity deal then why not just say it? No need for the mystery. So it probably is a technical issue with the series consoles.

I tend to agree with the writer here. Exclusivity isn’t as profitable as it once was because games cost way too much to make nowadays. Hence why a studio can still be shut down after selling a few million copies. 15 years ago those were great numbers with profitable returns.
Like Nintendo, both Sony and MS will need to find a way of making games on lower budgets. They’ll need to make more Astro Bots and less of TLOU type games.
