Call of Duty had a record holiday for PS. This is why they have an issue with the acquisition. It would certainly suck to have your largest selling game on an annual basis potentially removed.
I don’t have an issue with the acquisition as long as the established franchises selling the most on PS remains. At the same if MS were to try going exclusive with COD I think it would be a grave mistake it certainly wouldn’t reflect the sales it once did.
How so? There has been 2 main entries and one DLC in 10 years. Buying a remake/remaster is optional for those who have already played them.

The bundles were PS5 only but yes they would be included in the sales figures.
Regardless the numbers are beyond impressive.
Those same people also believe that MS had their hands in Hi-Fi Rush which Tango has already said was in the works before the acquisition.
I’m curious to know what the splits are between PS4 and PS5.

Well it’s a fact from what I have gathered.
I skip the intros anyway because I don’t watch it live. Football has been on every week so far. I’m assuming most that use HBO Max skip the intros.
It’s super popular more so because it is a new HBO and everyone knows their pedigree when it comes to a good series.
Whatever the reason these people (mostly women) didn’t know it was a video game.

Do we know that Sony is the only argument that the FTC is making here? I believe Sony is only a portion of the whole argument.
Now I am sure Sony could easily provider more than enough information to support their claim. Activision came out and said it themselves that Sony was their largest customer. Let’s not act like ABK isn’t important to Sony’s ecosystem, because we all know that taking away those franchises would cause a significant shift in the market.

The studios Sony purchased were already exclusively making PS games. At least console-wise.
