The fact that she is raising these concerns 3 episodes into the series is hilarious. 😂

Well it’s a fact from what I have gathered.

I skip the intros anyway because I don’t watch it live. Football has been on every week so far. I’m assuming most that use HBO Max skip the intros.

It’s super popular more so because it is a new HBO and everyone knows their pedigree when it comes to a good series.

Whatever the reason these people (mostly women) didn’t know it was a video game.

Not everyone is geeks like us. ...

The majority of the people that I know are watching didn’t even know that it is based off of a video game.

Didn’t XBox release a Halo series?

So he spent $7B acquiring them with an uncertainty that has just now been alleviated?

I used love this game back in college. I thought they were remaking it though.

I think that is how they see Black leads in games. Deathloop was the exact same way with the excessive profanity. Mafia 3 too.

Do we know that Sony is the only argument that the FTC is making here? I believe Sony is only a portion of the whole argument.

Now I am sure Sony could easily provider more than enough information to support their claim. Activision came out and said it themselves that Sony was their largest customer. Let’s not act like ABK isn’t important to Sony’s ecosystem, because we all know that taking away those franchises would cause a significant shift in the market.

What’s a service without games? Services live or die by their content literally.

The FTC is the plaintiff not Sony.

I stopped reading when he said that the PS5 after two years is still not worth buying. Didn’t care to know what was coming afterwards.

Figured that much.

This will continue until the week after the final episode.

Orchard you can be a real character at times. If Sony felt that PSVR didn’t meet or even exceed their expectations why would they move to release PSVR2? Sony is notorious for abandoning what they feel is a failure, but it looks like they are coming on even stronger with PSVR2.

Sony seems to have gotten VR right. Wouldn’t you agree?

Meta Quest is doing fairly well too.

Now I agree that MS was right in letting it go because they weren’t having much success themselves.

“Not super surprising given how poorly VR and AR and all the metaverse stuff have taken off really for Microsoft”

Thought I’d fix that for you.

@Gamingsince1981….Really? Phil is the CEO of XBOX not the head of the individual studios. He doesn’t actually make the games or hire any of the talent.

So on what grounds would they fire the CEO here?

1143d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

@rippermcrip ….What you just said has nothing to do with this. We weren’t talking about ethics when it comes to the acquisition.

That’s the problem on this site some of you are so toxic that you can’t have a sensible debate.

Acquiring ABK for $69B does not equal a $69B loss. They are investing in an asset that should appreciate in value over time.

Some of you on here make it seem as if this acquisition is a financial loss.

They are buying fine art not a damn car. Does this make more sense to y’all now?
