The game will be quite underwhelming and probably will lose steam after the first month based on what has been shown.
However XBox will be ok. GamePass will continue keeping them afloat.
I will say that XBox having a great year would be great for gaming because we already know the other to will be bringing it.
I loved the 1st one but not the 2nd one. I felt too overpowered in the 2nd one making it more action-like. Maybe this one goes back to the original.

I would laugh at those saying they would try something on GamePass and then buy it later if they liked it. They spoke as if that was the norm.

@Obscure_Observer… Forspoken was not a 1st party game from Sony nor should it be treated as such. Square Enix will comeback nicely with FFXVI I’m sure.
Besides Sony is entitled to some misses here and there because they actually take chances on new titles and release them regularly.

It’s sort of like pay to win with online games. The really good players grind it out to earn their goods, but then you have this micro transaction option where players can pay real money t get even or ahead of the good players.
It’s not illegal but it is frowned upon. That’s really what this acquisition looks like.

Honestly I am tired of hearing about it. Let MS have them and run the brand int the ground much like the rest of their acquisitions. Not a single studio is better off than they were before being acquired by MS. There has been no innovation at all whatsoever. I think Sea Of Thieves is the only new IP to have some level of success under MS’ watch.
