Here's the thing: long single-player games are expensive. In EA's case, they have to make money on the games they sell in some way. With Sony (and MS, who do need to get their act together) they have the added advantage of selling games as incentive to purchase a system.
God of War may very well not actually make any cash for Sony -- it probably will, but even if it doesn't, it's another reason to get a PS4.
This is nonsense, so of course it gets thrown to the top of the website
It isn’t, actually.
That doesn’t mean they’re making a new one
The Suffering 2 freaked me out
I preferred it to Origins. Felt like a good refinement of the formula.
It’s very similar to the 2013 game, not sure what you mean?
Nah, just that dev times have been increasing and it’ll be a few more years.
Very much doubt we will see a new Elder Scrolls yet.
If we hadn’t already seen Biomutant gameplay I would have put it on here. Psyched for that one!
Tried to keep it narrow, but yes, there are definitely some other great choices.
I am very excited for that game. More cats in games, please.
Read the article. I don’t think the game is tough.
I don't believe so, no. It varies by generation. The SNES Classic resonates with players so much, for instance, because the games weren't really in a transitional period -- they had perfected 2D. The PS2, by contrast, was still going through growing pains.
Not saying they aren't -- just that design conventions have changed since the original released and it makes it difficult to play it for the first time.
Ori was also very high on our list! Just wanted some variety. Don't be surprised to see it on our GOTY list.
It's almost like actors play more than one role!
This seems like a really well thought-out comment and I'll take it into consideration for all future reviews. Wait, how do I review this if it's not a game?
Foxtrot, I resent that. I didn't even receive a review copy for this game: I bought it with my own money and reviewed it with no outside influence.
You're free to make your own decisions regardless. A review is just there to help guide them.
Keep in mind it’s also $30
