I think this is one area where MS have raised the bar... The achievement system is great tbh... not that i am to bothered about getting every achievement on a game but for some its a kool feature... its a bummer when your online when people are goin for a certain kill all the time cos they are only 34 kills away from an achievement lol... i agree... this whole console war has been taken 2 far... If your truly happy with whatever console you own (and i own all 3 so im very happy) then people wouldnt feel the need to bash other consoles... i admit i am a sony fan (not a fanboy theres a difference) but everytime i state an opinion i gove reasons as to why i feel that way (about any console... none of them are perfect)... the worse thing is when people think they know everything about technology and talk a bunch of BS that doesnt ...

All pads WILL FAIL if they meet my rage... its durabilty is irrelivent... the pad WILL die at my hands (although next gen pads are wireless so i cant do my sledgehammer move... well i could with the wii nunchuck)
It depends what you mean by "best looking"... if you mean from a technical standpoint i would say Gears was best looking game of 06... It is probably 2nd in my list of good looking games because it has super graphics and great artwork... Nintendo proves that a game can look uber with just great artwork...
But anyway i feel Uncharted is easily the best looking game for me this gen... it looks like its beats Gears of War on a technical level and in my personal opinion t...
to be honest at first i didnt like the ps3 trigger buttons (then i got some trigger mods with a mag) but when my pad runs out i use the one with no trigger mods... i gotta say i actually dont mind using R2 to shoot anymore... but i still prefer R1 (i prefer R1 over the 360's RT tbh)
I hope you enjoy Lost Planet mate... id like to say id see you online but i already own the 360 version so obviously i dont feel the need to re-buy it for ps3... Lost Planet is one of them games where people really love it or hate it... but the people who love it will show strong support for it online for a long time

Does it matter? Final Fantasy for ps1 worked fine with multiple discs... Resident Evil 4 worked fine with multiple discs... I dont see Lost Odyssey being a problem... Obviously it is nicer to have on one disc i mean theres no logical argument that i will agree with that states otherwise... but swapping discs every so often isnt "that" bad... it wouldnt affect online because you could have the online on one disc and the main game on the other (im sure MGS did this with mgs3 subsistan...
I can only imagine that this game "Lost" is based off the TV series... tbh the series never interested me and i always thought prison break was the better of the 2 (although i didnt watch a lot of lost)... I dont think i can see a smooth transition from any TV series into a game but if this turns out to be good i will be proven wrong...
As for Lost Planet... Am i the only one who actually thinks this is fun? well offline sucks imo but i loved online for my 360 and eve...
I wish i had UT3 but i bought DMC4 last week not remembering that UT3 was due out soon... o well im enjoying DMC atm anyway... glad you are enjoying the mod... im gonna have to buy UT3 and get on the fun
Just cos dreamcast didnt do so well doesnt mean it was a bad system by anymeans... there is a difference... but everyone knows the dreamcast is considered to be one of the most under rated consoles of all time...

thats the reason i love sony... ps3 is compatible with so much stuff... i would expect ps cam to be better quality but i cant complain since i have a cam that works on both consoles :-)

Funnily enough i use my X-box vision cam on my ps3... works in video chat and Burnout
... for ps3 owners because not only did Monster Hunter get removed from the Ps3 completely but they also lost an exclusive to 360... Now losing the exclusive is not the bad part... the bad part is that the game they got in return (a 360 exclusive) was a crappy port of a game no1 cares about... they could of at least of gave Ps3 owners dead rising... o well the ps2 fans wasnt moaning when RE4 moved to ps2 when it was supposed to be GC exclusive so i guess its karma lol
