Since the wii allows you to play all GC games + wii games (obviously) from a technical standpoint the wii is better... But the wii itself and its titles do not compare to last gen... Last gen Ninty catered to the gamers... This gen they are a big bunch of sellouts and even though the gamecube saleswise failed in comparison to ps2 and x-box it had a nice exclusive line up and some of the best games of last gen... This gen the tides have turned... Nintendo are dominating and putting out garbage...

Look very different but both look good... I should know I have both version and can see clear differences in both versions without running side by side...
