Actually, shooters can work well with both. Regardless, Portal 2 is not a traditional shooter, and I think it'd work very well.

There have been numerous hands-on demos by reputable sites from IGN, Gamespot to Edge all claiming the Socom 4 controls are smooth, well integrated and that it has no lag. Please stop being a fanboy.

I played through the whole damn game actually. Aside from the visuals it was an AVERAGE shooter.

I didn't think it was a particularly bad article, but it was pretty shallow.
Characters are generic by personality (something Cole from Infamous lacked), and not through appearance (though this can exacerbate the problem).
I just think this article is a little unnecessary.
