Nioh had some smart combat and incredible boss battles, but the repetitiveness in level, enemy and weapon design really brought it down in enjoyment for me. As well, the story was told in an unnecessarily subversive way, made it an uncohesive experience for me. I hope in pt 2 they have weapons that don’t repeat which you can get throughout specific levels like DS and Zelda and the enemy variety is bumped up in a massive way.
Revenge is a b***ch
Looks like this game could be really fun if done right.
Dead Rising 2 Complete Pack for $9.89
DmC: Devil May Cry Complete Pack for $9.99
Mega Man Legacy Collection for $5.99
Okami HD for $13.99
Resident Evil 4/5/6 Pack for $14.99
Resident Evil 7 for $19.49
Resident Evil HD Remaster for $7.99
Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition for $19.99
If these “easy mode” advocates spent less time crying on here and more time actually playing Sekiro they’d be able to git gud.
You’ve got to be joking
Agree with everything on their list, but since it’s Kotaku they conveniently forgot another key issue BioWare needs to fix which is cut the forced, awkward SJW narrative. It’s turning much of their player base off in a big way.
I think it’s assumed that we want to have our cake and eat it too.
Would be an epic year of gaming for sure!
The auto-renewal is predatory and should be stopped or you should legally be allowed a refund.
This is bad.
It ruins the integrity of the experience for people that actually earned those rewards though. Feels cheap.
They say: $640.99
Character movement was sluggish and unresponsive. Also, the forced chore mechanics were a chore. But many game publications still gave it a 10 which wasn’t right. Should have been taken down to a 9 or 9.5 at most because of it.
It did indeed and so did Bloodborne so this article shouldn’t have a misleading picture of it for their title because the story and lore creation in that game is one of the most dynamic and wonder inducing ever told... that is, if you can properly peice it together. I recommend VaatiVida’s YouTube page for the most comprehensive interpretation.
I need to try Banner Saga
I don’t like the easy difficulty idea, but this comment is mean. I’m sure you’re joking, but comments like this don’t always read with the same humor they do in your head.
The whole video gives be douche chills.
Uggh, “reroll.” Anytime I hear a game has that mechanic I know the game is either taking advantage of its player base or is a giant time-suck. Last time I did that was the Division 1. I should have just started playing something else when it seemed fun to in-game gamble with digital gear I grinded for for hours because the gear sucked in the fist place.
Or an RPG, just totally different. Like what CDPR is doing with Cyberpunk from Witcher, but hopefully stays in 3rd person LOL.
